Rules of Composition:
- Control Background: This picture provide visual interest by avoiding its background to distract from the main subject.
Why is it photo good:
- The position of the camera maximises the visual effect of the shot.
- The picture is focuses on the main subject and the word can be read throughly
How can this improve:
- Maybe try out in a different angle (above)
- A different subject could make the picture more interesting
My personal favorite of a student project for digital photography.
Honestly, I only had 4 photos of the whole series that were good to work with but I had my camera on me while I was waiting for the bus on the way home. It was really bright out and there was no cover, so I turned away and saw this lamp. I like taking shots into the light so I took it on the spot and it turned out to be the best of the series.
A little too good actually when compared to the rest of the series. I should upload it's predecessors to show the progression.

How the mighty have fallen, we once were in control of our lives but now our lives have somehow wrangled control from us. Look its just sitting there all smug, deceiving you with its sleek lines, its pretty little navi scroll button thingy.
But NO! its just playing possum, waiting for the most inopportune moment to exercise its high and mighty technology and wrest life out of your hands once again.
After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new Director struggling to regain Control.
