Viewed through the canopy of a Helicopter in 1984, the Harbour Control Tower is still there even though the area surrounding its base has been cleared for re-development into the new Barrangaroo precinct.

The film is expired (2007) Fujicolor Superia, processed in the Tetenal C41 kit.
Utica Chapter NRHS recently donated the old GRS control panels from their collection. We will be placing one of these panels on display and the rest will go into safe storage.
The ceramic 10 Watt / 160 Ohm resistor from a circa 1960 Model 12 Sunbeam Mixmaster.
Note here and in the other pics of this resistor where the ceramic walls have cracked, bulged, and flaked away to expose the wiring inside.
The resistor's construction is pretty simple; it is a hollow tubular ceramic cylinder. The cylinder's walls are composed of two layers, with a coil of wire sandwiched between them. The wires are connected to a metal nipple at each end.
The wires on this one have broken, so it still resists current - totally and completely. Current can't flow through it at all.
This seems to be pretty typical condition for these resistors after thirty or so years of use!!

This hotel is so busy, they need a control tower to manage arriving guests ! Seriously....the main air traffic control tower in Singapore's Changi airport. The main structure weighs 500 tons and had to be lifted into place on top of the pedestal by an military helicopter.

Making Off de dos escenas del Proyecto de final de curso de la ESCAC y del como se hizo el Efecto Especial que se utilizo en cortometraje "TRIGO" rodado en cine digital, Red One . Mi amigo Guillermo Aldunante de fx Control, es el encargado de crear los Efectos Especiales que se ven en la grabación. Yo sólo le eche un cable para montar el material y para grabar el Making Off con dos cámaras Réflex y una Go Pro. Se han usado varias técnicas como seria el Time Lapse y la Grabación a 60 frames x seg.

I'm not too keen on this picture but I'm glad I tried something a little different. The first reason for this picture is that I think I took too many indoor pictures recently, and wanted something more refreshing. Second reason is that I took too many close-ups and wanted something with more space! And the third and last reason is that my life has been turned upside-down in the last couple of months, and I need to be reminded that I'm the only one who can take control and do what makes me happy.
