Triple exposure shot, taken at 'The Stade' in Hastings, East Sussex, UK.
Tonemapped in photomatix with some work on layers and levels in photoshop.
The idea was to try to convey the impression of the cold rusting metal, and give a feel of what it would be like to be sat at the controls.
Location: The Stade, Hastings, Eat Sussex, UK

The Countryside park Duisburg-Nord is a public park in the German city of Duisburg. The center of the park is formed by the ruin of a blast-furnace complex shut down in 1985.
I'm very happy with the results of this set and found the sharpness amazing. I also liked the way that stand development controlled the highlights, as can be see fro the shot. It was a very bright morning, but dark under the bridge. However, with an orange filter, the clouds came out well.
No sharpening applied.
By the way, for those who wondered what this scene looks like in colour, here's a screen shot of the scene, as seen on the light meter application on iphone.
p.s. app is free and is great :-)
