This is the stage or platform on which the contestants in the Reina del Huipil contest will stand for the awarding of prizes and announcement of the lucky winner. Cuetzalan, Puebla (Oct. 1996).
In this area the word "huipil" refers to a quechquemitl cape and not to the tunic-like garment that is generally termed a huipil

Subject: Rapala Contest
Story: i took my dad fishing on the sauk river earlier this week, first cast of the day, my first ever walleye on the fly rod half way through the day dad got a beautiful 7lber toward the end, i tied on an xrap, determined to beat my dad. and i fished it aggressively, eventually catching a long beauty at 6lbs dad was starting to brag, and i tossed the rap a few more times. i said to myself that the next cast would be my final cast. i fished it extremely fast and aggresively, and once it came into view, i noticed a large shadow following it, once it seen me, it quickly turned away. it was a MONSTER walleye! i tossed it out 20 feet passed where the walleye turned away. after a few jerks my rod was almost yanked out of my hands! after a long fight, i landed yet another 'fish of a lifetime' (but this is my 6th walleye of a lifetime!) at 34 in and 12lb 14oz, she crushes my old personal best by over 1lbs!!!!!!! i chuckled as i released her. 'dad, you shouldnt start bragging until we are done fishing, if you do, this will happen' he grumbled and cast a few more times before we left i emerge victorious yet again. with the first, the most, and the biggest fish.
This year's Llama Costume Contest will take place at 6 PM on Friday, August 5, in the Champions Pavilion at the State Fairgrounds.
