About 700 people came around and voted on the pumpkins in our Swansea Toronto neighborhood Halloween Pumpkin Contest. Winners receive much praise and bragging rights but all the entries look great and are enjoyed by everyone.
This neighborhood event is organized by the ladies at CHARLAND DESIGNS, who have been running this contest for several years.

OH, NO! JOHN! Design Contest is an event addressed to Italians or foreigners students ( academies or universities ), creative and graphic artists or young designers, who should create innovative design projects, drawing inspiration from the international brand OH, NO! JOHN!. Both single participants and groups can enter.
Considering the curiosity and mystery that this overwhelming media phenomenon has produced, the goal is to realize a project or to developed an idea inspired by the brand, representing its characteristics: international, versatile, simple but at the same time unique, features that this brand was able to transmit during these few years, after its first appearance.
Let the fantasy begin!

Oh no! It was a normal sunny day in Neverland on Second Life when these two sneaky Pirates showed up. The lady, a fierce Pirate Captain, and the man, a tough deckhand, are on a mission from Captain Hook to snatch up boys from Neverland! Just like me! They have this big, scary ship waiting to sail into the unknown. Now they're taking me away from the magical Neverland to their ship. I wonder what adventures wait ahead?

I selected the pink version of the Veil design "Bridal Shower". I'm getting married next year and have become obsessed (of course) with all things wedding. I love the colors of the card and how it manages to be fun, casual and elegant at the same time. I tried to pick rooms that match that feeling of the card as well as the colors. The first room had bright shots of pink and orange, along with a refined sense of whimsy I was looking for. The second room, the shot of the bathroom, was just unbelievably cool and elegant. And the lacy look of the door in the third photo reminded me of a wedding dress or veil.
