I have been overwhelmed with emails, notes and letters from so many Flickr friends - I wish to thank you all and tell you without hesitation that I have read and cherish each and every one of them.
At a time of renewed hope I wish you all good times and may you continue to show me the world as you see it!

Rocket Tower located in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg is the former headquarters of GSW Immobilien AG. The 80-m high structure, built in the 1960, was expanded and modernized in the late 1990s according to plans by Sauerbruch Hutton Architects.
The Berardo Collection Museum was a museum of modern and contemporary art in Belém, a district of Lisbon, Portugal. It was replaced by the Conteporary Art Museum -
Some of the views reminded me of the conteporary art. The same location, the same night.
Thank you for all the comments and favs, my friends.
Taken from the window of my hotel room. I loved this view for some reason, and it took me weeks (yes I was in the hotel for many weeks) before I managed to get around to shooting the scene from the window, as it was late, wet and had an ominous purple hue on this evening, so I thought it was the perfect time to shoot it!

The conteporary closure of both the Brenner and the Gotthard routes, forced the Venice Simplon Orient Express to run along an uncommon itinerary via Bern-Brig-Milan using the Loetschberg alpine line to cross the Alps. Here a couple of SBB Re460 is running over the southern ramp leding the train to Venice on the Mundwacht viaduct near Brig. (2012-06-15)

Taipei 101 is a landmark skyscraper located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. It has been hailed as one of the Seven New Wonders of the World (Newsweek magazine, 2006) and Seven Wonders of Engineering (Discovery Channel, 2005). Taipei 101 was overtaken in height on July 21, 2007 by the Burj Dubai in Dubai, UAE, upon the completion of that building's 141st floor . As of July 2009, the title of "world's tallest building" still rests with Taipei 101, as international architectural standards define a "building" as a structure capable of being fully occupied. The Burj Dubai will claim the title upon its completion, which, after delays involving upgraded finishes and apartment design, is expected on December 2, 2009. Ground to highest architectural structure (spire): 509.2 metres (1,670.60 ft). Previously held by the Petronas Towers 452 m (1,483 ft). Taipei 101 was the first building in the world to break the half-kilometer mark in height. It was the first "world's tallest building" to be constructed in the new millennium.
The building contains 101 floors above ground and 5 floors underground. Its postmodern style combines Asian and international modern and traditional elements. It is designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes. A multi-level shopping mall adjoining the tower houses hundreds of fashionable stores, restaurants and clubs. The name of the tower reflects its floor count. The number is pronounced in English simply as One Oh One and in Mandarin and other local languages by the equivalent. The height of 101 floors commemorates the renewal of time: the new century that arrived as the tower was built (100+1) and all the new years that follow (January 1 = 1-01). It symbolizes high ideals by going one better on 100, a traditional number of perfection. The number also evokes the binary numeral system used in digital technology.

The Fantasia gift shot at the Contemporary Resort. Until about two years ago, this area was open space which is the way I wished it would have remained as this giganitic structure conflicts with the modern crisp lines of the Contemporary. However, based upon the crowds that I have seen conduct business in this shop, I dont think it is going away any time soon. I rank it third behind the departed wand and the sorcerer's hat at the Studios.

Not sure if there is such genre, but this was a very fine band playing a 'fusion' of conteporary rock/pop with traditional Indian music. When done with taste and professionalism it is very pleasent to listen to (and even makes you dance ;)

The European Ford Fusion is a high roof, five door, five-passenger, mini MPV. Designed by Mark Adams, the Fusion shares its platform with the conteporary Ford Fiesta, but is longer, wider and taller than the Fiesta — with high h-point seating rear 'theatre-style' and 60/40 folding rear seats, fold-flat front passenger seat and a load floor flush with the cargo sill. Taking its Fusion nameplate referring to its combination of small hatchback, MPV and SUV design featuresFord marketed the Fusion as an 'Urban Activity Vehicle'
The Fusion debuted in concpt form at the 2001 Geneva Motorshow, and in production form in at Geneva in 2002 going on sale the same year, and manufactured at Fords Cologne plant and in Chennai, India.
Thge car was given a mild facelift in 2005 as the Fusion 2, with revised front and rear lights, bumper fascias, side mouldings, door mirrors, brighter exterior colours, revised interior design with 'soft touch' materials and revised analogue instrument display.
The Fusion was available with 1.4 and 1.6 litre petrol engines and 1,4 and 1.6 litre TDCi Diesel engines

A view through the multi-story windows of the "Grand Canyon Concourse" inside the Conteporary Resort at Walt Disney World at Orlando, Florida.
The curve along the top right is part of one of the giant "mouse ears" attached to the Fantasia gift shop. They definitely make it challenging to get good shots from this area, but I think I like how it works here.
