I went to two of the local "consultation" events about the so-called regeneration of Tottenham Hale, and the planners' and developers' "Strategic Regeneration Framework Vision".

This meeting was at Emily Bowes Court, Hale Village

Hale me hearties

Notice that the Vision refers to both "Tottenham Hale" and "The Hale". I wonder if it's another signal that the developers would prefer to rebrand the latter as somewhere distinct from the old place called Tottenham.

The session was yet another sales pitch to local residents with these large cards gushing about what a great place it's going to be in the future. Though nobody actually said what sort of "new town" it will feel like. There's a wide range to choose from.

Anyway, the clear and unwavering message is new newness. Or even shinier newness.

Although the plan itself is the same old 2009 vision for maximum commercial exploitation of our area. With much the same advertising copy. Step Right Up!

Also in Indian Astrology which is known as the best Vedic astrology, it is considered that the zodiac is elliptic and not circular due to which the twelve houses in a birth chart are not 30 degree each but varying according to the time of birth. Owing to these differences the birth chart prepared following Indian system would come out different from that shown on any other system. It is also considered to be much more accurate.

The Consultation-cum-Examination-cum-Treatment-cum-Dispensation Room. I was asked to lie down on my stomach here on the carpet. Then the 'Doctor'; had a couple of oil drops applied to my lower back, had his fingers run through my affected vertebrae, and had a mild 'push'! Alas!! the treatment was over. We were sent home with medicines for 30 days which costed us Rs.700/- (approx US $15 ). That was it...no consultation fee, no booking fee, nothing. personally met so many who had miraculous cure

During a visit to Cuningar Loop in Glasgow, the Minister saw how an innovative partnership in the public sector is transforming a neglected landfill site into a valuable community asset.

After the ceremony, the professional photographer shows an image to Emily, the bride.

On the evening of December 4, 2012, at the Calabash Centre, a day centre on George Lane in Catford, in the London Borough of Lewisham, hundreds of local residents turned up at a consultation to hear from -- but mainly to harangue -- Matthew Kershaw, the NHS Special Administrator responsible for proposals to savagely cut services at Lewisham Hospital, and to close departments, including A&E. Kershaw is second from the right in the photo. From the left, the panel members are: Dr. Mike Marriman, the medical director of King's; Dr. Andy Mitchell, the medical director for the whole of the NHS in London; Dr. Jane Fryer, Kershaw's chief medical advisor; Gavin Grey, the chair; Kershaw himself; and Hannah Farrar, his Strategy Advisor.

Lewisham's A&E Department -- and children's A&E Department -- face closure, and its maternity services and other acute services also face the axe, not as a result of financial problems or clinical care problems at Lewisham, but because of serious financial problems at a neighbouring trust, the South London Healthcare Trust, which is burdened with outrageous PFI debts.

Kershaw is acting under new legislation for dealing with bankrupt trusts, but he and his team (four of whom were also at the meeting) have broadened their remit -- I believe illegally -- to include the whole of south east London's hospitals, and, in particular, to target Lewisham, on the basis that only four of south east London's five A&Es can continue to be funded. If the plans go ahead, after a consultation period of just five weeks, which is derisory, there will be just one A&E Department, in Woolwich, for the 750,000 people in three London boroughs -- Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley -- whereas campaigners, myself included, insist that every London borough (like Lewisham, with its population of 250,000) needs it own fully functioning A&E Department.

There is overwhelming support for the government’s ambition to tackle the deep-rooted causes of child poverty, Equalities Secretary Angela Constance has said.

During a visit to North Edinburgh Childcare in the Pilton area of the capital, Ms Constance also announced the Scottish Government would contribute of £40,000 to the Cash for Kids appeal which helps children who are disadvantaged through poverty, and helps groups and organisations that work to improve the lives of children in communities across Scotland.
