This group of Greater Flamingos were performing their mating dance and display for dominance in Camargue, France.
The two flamingos in the center of this photography get their necks entangled with each other.
They quickly worked it out and then the group continued to perform the dancing ritual.
There are nine different postures during the courtship display and from these postures, there are more than 100 possible transitions between the postures.
The dance is a beautiful group behavior to watch and listen to.

Trowbridge Falls or Troll Bridge Falls as the local kids call it is a local Thunder Bay park and campgrounds, when I showed up this morning to shoot I found all access blocked by chain link except the bridge itself due to the construction of a new BMX dirt track course that was underway. The park area begins at Kingsman park with trails leading through Centennial park and onwards to the Cascades Conservation area but the draw for me was the little falls on the Current River captured as best as possible here..
What I didn’t know while sitting in the dark waiting for the light to arise was this is the most haunted place in Thunder Bay with reports of ghost sighting all the way back to the founding of the park in the 60’s attributed to many kids who lost their lives to the currents swimming here. The place is famous enough to have been featured on a episode of “Creepy Canada” a paranormal TV program, besides the ghosts there is supposedly a shape shifting Dogman that walks the trails and hangs out at the bridge regularly so bring biscuits or face the consequences.
I took this on Sept 24, 2021 with my D850 and Tamron 24-70 f2.8 G2 Lens at 70mm, 10s, f16 ISO 64 processed in LR, PS +Topaz ,and DXO

Consequences in the Netherlands It is also getting warmer in the Netherlands and the sea level is rising. The main consequences of climate change for the Netherlands: The weather is becoming more extreme: more heavy showers, more heat waves. There is a greater risk of flooding: the rivers and sewers are no longer able to drain the water properly during heavy rainfall. Nature in the Netherlands is changing: species that originally come from warmer areas, feel more and more at home in the Netherlands. Well-known examples are the oak processionary caterpillar, the small hermit crab, certain tick species and the "hay fever plant" Ambrosia. Another effect is that spring starts earlier: plants bloom earlier, trees sprout earlier, insects appear earlier and birds breed earlier in the year. This can cause problems, for example for migratory birds that missed the insect peak upon arrival in the Netherlands and cannot find enough food. Species that cannot adapt quickly enough to changing circumstances run the risk of disappearing. There are also advantages: we can grow other vegetable and plant species because they will do better in the Netherlands. Winters are getting milder; it will freeze less often. It is getting wetter: in the spring, autumn and winter there is more rainfall. Summers are getting drier and hotter. There are more summer and tropical days. In the Netherlands, the consequences of climate change can probably be controlled. We can strengthen dikes and dunes and create storage areas along rivers for extra river water. You can also help to limit waterlogging by applying fewer tiles and more greenery in your garden. Rainwater can then sink into the soil, so that the sewer is less overloaded (so: less flooded basements and streets).
That special day.
you remember it.
22-12-2007, there was frozen fog on the trees and a blue sky. It was just a few hours. It was marvelous.
The consequences of our rainy spring months are still visible, but at least the light is getting better. We've had sunshine for three days in a row now, which is a first this year.

Last steps before lockdown... Return of the confinement here, one year after the first.
One year after, the same questions, the same doubts, the same fears, the tiredness in more. To confine earlier, later, for what purpose?
I hear the sound of a wave, the nth wave, coming. A wave linked to postponed surgeries, to psychological distress, to the fear of entering a new tunnel. An invisible wave, but there, with impalpable consequences.
A last step outside, a last step free to feel the sand...
I Got Your Back.
Someone is at the door , but I am not dressed. It is an old friend, the best kind to invite into my nest. I reach for the soap, and think, it’s too warm to move. The door opens slightly, he is there, someone from my past, from way back, someone too kind, too gentle for their own good. He talks, and I hear words, but they are harsh and sarcastic, it’s a puzzle – someone being what they are not, and it isn’t really nice.
What have I done to bring this out in him, I wonder. Then he is gone, I turn over, there is a child next to me, submerged, under my arm.
I jump out and administer mouth to mouth, panic, then relief. She jumps up, smiles, and is on her way to go and play – I stare wistfully at the bath, my child, running, playing, and I feel alone, sitting there on the floor.
The dreamer awakes next to me, she smiles.
“Hi you”, she says, “I am puzzled by myself”.
The mist is rolling across the field, the ground is filled with autumn leaves, and we are snuggled under blankets that follow us to the couch. Mugs and steam, warm in the hand – comfort and peace – legs tucked underneath.
She relates the dream.
“What do you think?”.
“Everyone in my dream is me” she says, “and everyone I meet is a symbol of my own being, My friend has become harsh, bitter, I think it’s me, straying from my own idea of me. I am languishing in the bath – it’s comfortable, but it’s is killing the child in me”.
Silence .....
My hand find’s it’s way to hers. They lock and squeeze.
She waits, draws a breath and says, “Have I become a bad person?”
I look into her eyes, I see no bad, I see only what is deep inside and something inside me says “Your dream is your note to self, you offer yourself paths and consequence”.
Knowing when to shut-up is a gift many people have, but not me. “When I look at you, I see strength and weakness, but I see no bad. I see the little girl and the adult, and I don’t mind which one comes out to play – but when they wonder off, I think we lose our way.
She stood up, went to the cupboard and appeared with a pair of roller skates “common”, she said “it’s time to play”.

This is something special I want to share with you friends. Taken on a Tripod during a very windy day. I went down to see the beauty of the place, but the view is from the top. You can see the surrounding wall and some shelters for tourists to take rest. I happened to know some locals dive from the top. I have taken so many shots, but this is the one I love most.
You can judge the size of the Sinkhole while looking at those people down there. Some people swim in this place, such lovely and clean water. This place is located about One kilometer away from the Sea, a great tourist attraction.
Located in Dabab village, 113 km away from Muscat, the capital of Oman. There are various stories behind the formation of the “Hawiyat Najm” Local inhabitants have a legendary story where by a meteorite fell in this location.
As its name indicates in Arabic “Hawiyat Najm” translate into English to “The Falling Star” Yet upon scientific research conducted by experts and geologists confirms that the crater was formed as a natural consequence of the interaction of dissolving limestone located at this location, which contain calcium carbonate with water, which resulted in the collapse of the earth’s upper crust layer.
Thank you for your visits, faves and comments. Constructive criticism and suggestions are most welcome!

When I'm nervous I have this thing yeah I talk too much
Sometimes I just can't shut the hell up
It's like I need to tell someone anyone who'll listen
And that's where I seem to fuck up, yeah
I forget about the consequences, yeah
For a minute there I lose my senses
And in the heat of the moment
My mouth starts going, the words start flowing, oh

Nothing twice
Nothing can ever happen twice.
In consequence, the sorry fact is2
that we arrive here improvised
and leave without the chance to practice.
Even if there is no one dumber,
if you're the planet's biggest dunce,
you can't repeat the class in summer:
this course is only offered once.
No day copies yesterday,
no two nights will teach what bliss is
in precisely the same way,
with precisely the same kisses.
One day, perhaps some idle tongue
mentions your name by accident:
I feel as if a rose were flung
into the room, all hue and scent.
The next day, though you're here with me,
I can't help looking at the clock:
A rose? A rose? What could that be?
Is it a flower or a rock?
Why do we treat the fleeting day
with so much needless fear and sorrow?
It's in its nature not to stay:
Today is always gone tomorrow.
With smiles and kisses, we prefer
to seek accord beneath our star,
although we're different (we concur)
just as two drops of water are.

grandeur can sometimes blind us to the point that we fail to see the little things which are just as beautiful. by the same token, sometimes we get too busy attending to "grander" things in life, the ones we consider "matters of consequence" that we forget the simple yet sometimes more important things. have you smelled a flower today? have you looked at the stars? have you smiled at a stranger? have you said "i love you" to the significant people in your life? have you held their hands? have you called or written a friend just to say hello? life is fleeting. and it would be so tragic to realize it's too late to do any of these simple things because we have been too busy with "matters of consequence" .
The seawater has receded due to low tide, which makes it impossible for several fishermen to get their boats closer to the wholesale fish market where they are going to unload their fish catch.
As a result, the fishermen and their assisting workers have to walk and wade in the shallow waters for more than 50 meters to carry the fish containers toward the market. And some have to do it a few times to complete the job.
Taken in early morning at the town proper of Subic, Zambales, Philippines.
While the tumultous consequences of covid19 rages all around us here in London those of us who can do so stay at home and out of harm's way. But I try to get out for a ride on my bicycle most days. The government asks that we restrict our exercise time away from home to one hour and I hold my hand up and say that I'm sometimes out for longer. But I stick to roads and lanes that are very quiet and for the most part devoid of people. I reckon I'm safe and I'm not posing a risk to others so I hope the police won't arrest me.
The best part of that scenario is that I'm learning the geography of my area so much better than I knew it before. And so it was that I found myself in an area I'd not been before and came across this little lane in Nork Park, near Banstead in Surrey, bracketed by these lovely blossoming trees. It is a truly lovely spot. I shot a few images through the blossoms and slightly overexposed them to get the unnaturally bright light coming through.
