Armeria maritime or as I know it...Thrift, I went in search of some the other weekend and found an abundance of it at Bedruthan in Cornwall, taken from the north east end of Bedruthan looking back to the well known and steep steps, with the sun setting behind me and throwing some lovely light back onto the coastline.

After a few hours photographing the birds in Yarner on Sunday I took my first trip out to Saddle Tor, and what a great subject/place it is, as the sun set the temperature dropped dramatically and unfortunately there was a lot of mist/haze that never burnt off during the day, this diffused/muted the sunset, and with hardly a cloud in the sky it wasn't quite what I was hoping for, I therefore feel a return visit is on the cards very soon! :)
