Finale Dames, Rolland Garros.
Sarah ERRANI
Maria SHARAPOVA

Catholic parish church Our Lady of the Nativity with cemetery
Object ID: 88250, Cross alley 8
Cadastral Community: Tschagguns
The parish and pilgrimage church Our Lady of the Nativity is a Roman Catholic church in Tschagguns in the Montafon. It is surrounded by a cemetery.
Location
The church stands free shortly behind the bridge over the Ill on the church stone Kilkaste called ledge at the entrance of the village. Just as the sun stands in the course of the day, the light falls freely from the outside through many windows into the church, which is bright and full of light.
Church
The mighty Baroque nave with gothic choir under common pitched roof was later supplemented with lower set aisles. The southern aisle was built in 1752. The church tower was rebuilt in 1783 under the master builder Siegele and provided with an onion dome with lantern. A large-scale extension with rebuilding of the northern aisle, an increase of the choir and extension of all naves took place under Johann Nepomuk Bitschnau from 1812 to 1814 and was re-consecrated in 1820. Outside the choir is a war memorial with a fresco Dead Soldier by Hans Bertle from 1929. Inside are the frescoes The burnt offering, Moses in front of the burning bush, Consecration of the temple by King Solomon, The election of Saul as the first king of Israel and his anointing by the Prophet Samuel as well as the Stations of the Cross with stucco framing by Michael Anton Fuetscher from 1814 and were restored in 1956 by Hannes Bertle. The high altar in the choir with an upper picture of Saint Ulrich of Franz Bertle seems to have been removed. There is now a baptistery with a baptismal font by Josef Vonier from 1770. Before that is a solid wooden people's altar in the form of a table with four turned columnar legs. The former pulpit on the wall by Josef Vonier from 1777 is now located on the floor and also serves as an ambon. There is a painting of Christ with soldiers. 1914 - 1918. Donated by Arnold Durig in memory of his leadership of a large military hospital with then own barrack church in Vienna.
Organ
The main organ in the gallery of the parish church was built in 1816 by the Alsatian Joseph Bergöntzle in Alsatian-French style. It has 3 manuals, pedal and a total of 38 registers. After a varied history, it was extensively restored in 1994 by the Swiss organ builders Georges Lhote and Ferdinand Stemmer. Furthermore, the church has a chest organ from 2011 and a still operable with bellows Styrian house organ.
Katholische Pfarrkirche Unsere Liebe Frau Mariä Geburt mit Friedhof
Objekt ID: 88250, Kreuzgasse 8
Katastralgemeinde: Tschagguns
Die Pfarr- und Wallfahrtskirche Mariä Geburt ist eine römisch-katholische Kirche in Tschagguns im Montafon. Sie ist von einem Friedhof umgeben.
Lage
