the connecting threads without the needles and the newspaper bits

This is based on a fractal of mine which is taken from the same parameters as the Moth's Dream. This began life as a tiled sphere with many connectors bringing cables to the ball. In case you have not noticed, most the titles are more or less capricious and mostly just so that I will recognize the file name. Many of them are entirely meaningless. In this case the original image was expansive and colorful. It is dreamed with a painting by Bodinier, A Melancholy Ballad. The Bodinier painting is (computationally) a black donut with a light center in which several sad figures are seen. The whole thing seems to be a comical rocket ship driven by an old man.

The context - what the previous shot was a fragment of. Unlike connecting land over water, connecting multiple images into a panorama isn't always perfect :( The automatic in-camera stitching often produces 'sliced' views, but I thought the damage here is acceptable enough to share the image...

"Does our purpose on Earth directly link to the people whom we end up meeting? Are our relationships and experiences actually the required dots that connect and then lead us to our ultimate destinies? "

All changed in 20 years: When i started to pass that street daily from 2003 to 2009 with my bicycle, trains on the rural Winterthur to Schaffhausen route have been single-deckers, doubled to half-hourly operation not long before that days. Today, three hourly trains are running, and all three S-Bahn lines on the route are usually double-deck with two of them connecting directly to Zurich. On S12, first generation push-pull sets are used on weekdays, with six-car KISS EMUs in service on weekends as today's afternoon when i took a walk with my baby boy sleeping in his stroller after a visit at my parent's house.

Dot-dot-dot... that's today's theme in We're Here!. I didn't think I had anything with dots that I could use and then I remembered the coolest shoes I own (and wore yesterday).

I was thinking about this for quite a long time. First idea was to use some badges that will connect each other (www.flickr.com/photos/maciej_drwiega/23690038304/in/datep...). I did couple of attempts and it was working quite well, however the fit was not perfect as well as it was time consuming to modify bricks.

Couple of months ago I came up with an idea of non-invasive solution.

Finally 2 or 3 weeks ago I found time to work this out and ordered some POGO connectors from AliExpress (links below). Arrived today so here it is. The Poof Of Concept.

I'm still not sure if the spot the spring connector touches the flat base is large enough to distribute power, but some soldering and measurements is a next step.

Finally I can work on the modules! :)

And yes, if it is not obvious - I want to have single power source for all the lights on the layout.

I wake up and I feel the cold of the wood under my feet.

I open the window , always , also during the winter only to know that there is another day ready to taste and to control if the sky has not fallen in pieces in the night.

Then I love to rub my eyes until I see many little shining dots and suddenly , open them ... you can see all in a different light.

I say hello to Mr. Cheese slapping him on his shoulder but only because we understand each other by one glance .

I never smile when I'm only just awake , only after the breeze is running between my eyelashes .

*I smile , slowly , slowly , slowly *

Good morning , everybody .

When the first batch of Enviros arrived at Cumnock in 2008, all were branded as "CC" Connect Cumnock, which covered the selection of routes from Cumnock depot, rather than the branding of individual ones. The branding was also applied to a few selected Olympians and a Trident, however after the first repaint of the vehicles, the branding was lost and the few deckers were also to follow. The photo shows 22591 at Cumnock in 2011, still retaining branding. The branding is yet another item confined to history, as well as Cumnock depot now.

Central Connect seemed to have some varied E200 MMC allocations going on in March, with a few different examples appearing on the 517 for an unusual amount of variety. I say variety, it is just MMCs at the end of the day but they do at least have varying ages/lengths and the application of the livery and graphics also differs between vehicles too.

On 17.3.25 and extra small 517 was to be found, being provided by mini 8.9 metre 371 and pictured on Chilwell High Road opposite the Charlton Arms.
