The two big orange nodes are claustrum and the reticular nucleus of thalamus. Their cluster contains lots of visual cortex. The cluster below it contains somatosensory cortex, the one to the lower left seems to be motoric, the one above it seems to be secondary somatosensory. The one on top of that (left of the big cluster) seems to be cingulate cortex. This is nicely connected to the medial temporal system, which constitutes the three clusters to the upper left (the right centers on entorhinal cortex, the upper left is dentate gyrus and the lower left is cornu ammonis and subiculum feeding back). The small nodes on top are parasubiculum and presubiculum and area 31, limbic structures that in reality have many more connections.
Overall, I'm pretty impressed by how the clustering manages to get a rough outline of different systems.

In this network I removed the heavily connected claustrum and reticular nucleus nodes before running clustering. The result is just four big clusters. The right cluster is heavily visual, the lower cluster is somatosensory and motoric, the middle cluster limbic and the left cluster is the hippocampal system.
Running a second pass of clustering neatly divides the lower group into a motoric, primary somatosensory and a secondary somatosensory cluster. The limbic cluster divides into a MTL and a cingulate cluster, while the visual splits into a primary cluster, a temporal and a parietal cluster. Very cool.

I was invited to spend two days at Europe’s most comprehensive IoT Event. This leading forum focused on case studies that show today’s Industry and Enterprises leveraging IoT technologies to transform their business through creating value and efficiencies.
The Internet of things (stylised Internet of Things or IoT) is the internetworking of physical devices, vehicles (also referred to as "connected devices" and "smart devices"), buildings and other items—embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to collect and exchange data.
"Things," in the IoT sense, can refer to a wide variety of devices such as heart monitoring implants, biochip transponders on farm animals, electric clams in coastal waters,[16] automobiles with built-in sensors, DNA analysis devices for environmental/food/pathogen monitoring or field operation devices that assist firefighters in search and rescue operations.[18] Legal scholars suggest to look at "Things" as an "inextricable mixture of hardware, software, data and service". These devices collect useful data with the help of various existing technologies and then autonomously flow the data between other devices. Current market examples include home automation (also known as smart home devices) such as the control and automation of lighting, heating (like smart thermostat), ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and appliances such as washer/dryers, robotic vacuums, air purifiers, ovens or refrigerators/freezers that use Wi-Fi for remote monitoring.

A flawless "capture" of cave painters, clearly speaking a language never written, heard or imagined by modern humanity. The eldest, maybe mid-forties, inhales deeply, then exhales, as if releasing himself through the sidelong downstroke he stretched for, stubbled-feather brush clotted with pigment, the glistening flank of a larger-than-life bison stands suddenly clear, every stroke audible over the stone, you can hear the soft but distinct huff & puff of the woman's breath blowing soot through a reed into an outline of the girl's hand held to the cave wall. She whispers something in her ear, the girl grins. Then the boy's hand is placed. In theaters everywhere many swear to "experiencing" a smell of bittersweet smoke.
This Scene, both digitally and in film-stock, inexplicably "embeds" in the master copies of whatever movie it interrupted, as if it belonged there, allowing endless analysis in the weeks and months that follow, as well as the record uber-viral multi-billion online view count by midweek.
The day after First Contact--Easter Sunday (Christian speculation is especially tweaked, urgent & "confused") near-invisible & barely legible in the palm of a hand print, as if scratched there: what turns out to be GPS coordinates.

At the beginning of last year the technology services company Colt commisioned Global Street Art to organise the largest wall mural in Shoreditch. This area became known as one of the best spot for street art. In the last years this part of London is still an attraction but for an art more planned and commisioned. For this event, the theme chosen was connectivity which was a great way to blend technology and creativity and to dialogue with the surrounding urban landscapes.
Working on two sides of a large building on King John Ct, Italian street artists Hunto and Mister Thoms aka Diego Della Posta have painted a huge mural entitled “Connectivity Matters”. The two artists have created a fusion between their personal styles and characters. Hunto paints his iconic portraits taking inspiration from Picasso and Cubism but using bright and intense colours, clumping this cluster of characters inside a round window. Mr Thoms creates a hinged network of interlocking figures and items that represent talkers, listeners, webcams. Each element is linked to the others by some pipes, showing as every single part of our life is strictly connected, encouraging us to reflect on our modern society.

The previous image was an abstract of the three middle trees.
I spent around 20 minutes in this location, as the front on light was helping bring out the majesty of the textures of the bark of these silver birches.
It gave me that moment of smiling inside, contentedly, the fact of being there, drinking in the atmosphere provided by nature in all its glory. And photographically, the contentment of having all the pieces just fall on to your lap as a gift. #Perfect.
