Sticky connection.

Gluing two cardboard pieces together.

I may have gone a little overboard with the glue?

Happy Fence Friday my friends! I wish you a great weekend!

Probably the most common connection we ALL have... it keeps US (smartphone, i Pad,...) charged, connected and in Business... HMM :-)

Tiny hands playful

newborn into the wide world

instantly pure love

My Big Brother's Hands

When I came into the world,

Mommy held me out to you.

She said to touch me softly,

She showed you what to do.

Your hands proudly held me,

You claimed me as your own.

You asked if I was "for keeps",

If you could take me home.

Your hands are Mommy's helpers,

Anything silly to make me smile.

Hunting for my lost blankie,

Pushing the stroller for awhile.

Your hands are my amusement,

Playing peekaboo with sheets.

Humpty Dumpty and pat-a-cake,

Tickling my tummy and my feet.

Your hands are my heros,

I'll watch intently as you play.

My curious eyes will follow you,

I'll want to be like you one day.

As we both grow older -

A bond both strong and deep.

Between me and my big brother,

Who gave his love for keeps.

or the initial spark between two people.

A magnetic and childhood connection.

I stayed in the Hyatt at the McCormick Place last weekend, wasn't impressed.

Standing in the middle of a crosswalk in downtown Vancouver, I noticed this relationship. The growing green bushes along an elevated walkway, matched the green reflections of the building above the railing. Both partially hidden behind a vail that blocked their full appearance. Sometimes it can be the connections between objects that bond us with the environment that surrounds us.

Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment and favoring my images. Enjoy the day.

Super busy day, this shot was done in a quick manner 😁.

I took my white earpiece plug and the socket of audio extension cable, placed it on my Japanese cookies box to create reflections.

Added some text to the shot. If you look carefully, behind the character 'c' was a piece of tiny sting ,,

Macro Mondays: Connection

After the storms left the city, a magnificent rainbow appeared over the downtown cityscape of the Western Auto Building to Union Station and all the way to the Liberty Memorial.

Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side?

Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, and rainbows have nothing to hide.

So we've been told and some choose to believe it.

I know they're wrong wait and see.

Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.

The lovers, the dreamers and me.

Who said that wishes would be heard and answered when wished on the morningstar?

Someone thought of that and someone believed it.

Look what it's done so far.

What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing and what do we think we might see?

Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.

The lovers, the dreamers and me.

All of us under its spell.

We know that it's probably magic

Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices?

I've heard them calling my name.

Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors.

The voice might be one and the same.

I've heard it too many times to ignore it.

It's something that I'm supposed to be.

Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers and me.

La-da-da, de-da-da-do

La-da-da-da-da-de-da-do

A very old lady looked in the mirror one morning. She had three remaining hairs on her head, and being a positive soul, she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today." So she braided her three hairs, and she had a great day.

Some days later, looking in the mirror one morning, preparing for her day, she saw that she had only two hairs remaining. "Hmm, two hairs... I fancy a centre parting today." She duly parted her two hairs, and as ever, she had a great day.

A week or so later, she saw that she had just one hair left on her head. "One hair huh...," she mused, "I know, a pony-tail will be perfect." And again she had a great day.

The next morning she looked in the mirror. She was completely bald.

"Finally bald huh," she said to herself, "How wonderful! I won't have to waste time doing my hair any more.."
