Is there a new renaissance or should there be? I´d rather pass. This is why:
Only some aspects of the historical renaissance in 15th and 16th century AD correspond to the common streotype of a humanistic, innovative and rational period. The historical renaissance is equally associated with colonialism, genocide, witch hunts, epidemics, magical thinking, alchemy, mercenary companies and oligarch autocrat rule enforced by poison, arson and other forms of discrete murder.
