Confession: I love trees. And the more I learn about them - and there is much to learn - the more I love them. To me, one of the roles of a tree is that of a watcher. Silent. Imperturbable. Taking stock. Long suffering. Never judging. Observing the dramas of nature unfold. It is in this context that I composed this image.
