.
As the title says, it's time for a true confession.
And who's confession you are asking ?
Well, that would be my confession!
Last few weeks my old body has been beat
pretty badly. You've all heard me complaining,
whining, sniveling and crying in my beer. Just to
clarify that, I quit drinking so long ago I can't even
remember what year that was. Didn't have any kind
of problem with alcohol, just got tired of drinking ;)---
So, a list was made of all the broken body parts, and
it was lengthy. There's still a robin egg size knot on
my jaw from the other day and my groin muscle
is not going away any time soon. The thorn
that was stuck in my gum line is another
slow healer. And the list goes on & on.
And just what do I plan to do about it you ask ?
Hard to say, but my gut feeling says, "Slow Down !"
I was saying to no# 1 wife that I think the floor
has gotten further down than it was before.
She looked puzzled so I explained that
it's taking me way longer to reach
the floor and twice as long
to stand back up ;0-
She shook her lovely little head and smiled.
Then she said, " you be old old man now."
My reply, "you be old old woman too."
With that being said I wrapped my
arms around her while she tried
to resist, then she relented ;)
Earth girls are so easy.
OK, lets talk dogs. Nothing there will change.
We will be going to the mud cobra field but
most likely I will spend more time resting
at the rest area. That means fighting my
way through the cornucopia of palm
fronds will be slowing way down.
My body needs 2 mend and at my age
it seems to be taking way to long ;(---
Now 2 get around that problem I've
got a good plan.. Every-year come
birthday time I will be subtracting
one year, so, the next B-party
I will be a young man of 77 .
I'm feeling better already :)
Looks like, next week we are being
taken out to the temple to see the
nuns & take care of all the dogs.
Thanks for all of your ongoing support;)

My photos are not the best
I am not a photographer
I don't own expensive different kinds of lens
I am not smart
I am not lovely
I am not confident
but yet full with mysteries and self doubts
and I am nothing , I always know that.
I have been really such a hard time past few days.
People talk about bad things , about my photos, about me. it's like not directly to me but
Indirectly way they talk around my environment
They make fun of me.
How could they be so mean? I've never been like this before.
I've been really sad and depressed.
Having sleepless nights and12 hours of work.
I am really exhausted.
I want to say so many things, but no words are coming as i start to type
I literally suck at describing what I feel, how I feel..I failed.
I always write a thousand words in my mind, but ...
Tearing rolling from my eyes as I am writing this.
I don't know , I don't know.
why must be every single song coming from the itunes are sad and heart breaking songs right now??
P.S thank you for all my flickr friends for every single comment.
I could not describe how much those words mean so much to me.
You all are the best thing that I've ever had.
I love you all so much. Thank you .. Thank you.
I understand that looking through my stream you might be led to believe that we get nothing but blue sky and sunshine in Scotland but I have to confess that I've misled you slightly on that one. We do actually get one or maybe two days a year that are a bit dreich. So I got up this day and looked out the window and lo and behold I couldn't believe it but one of them had finally come around.
Anyway the water was still turquoise but I've desaturated the rest of it a bit.
Thanks for all the comments on my last shot. As I'm sure you guessed I'll continue to share in the spirit of flickr but it was an interesting thread and I was glad to hear that a lot of you felt like me when it comes to sharing. Of course the tags were there in the exif all along as some of you no doubt noticed.
And sorry about misleading you on the weather I hope none of you came here on the day that it rained last year.
dreich: dreary, describes weather that is dull and depressing

I had surgery yesterday, so the picture for yesterday is old, and this picture is weird. because i'm tired. my arm is all bruise-y and i have mad track marks from the IV.
A strange look to Rufus after running all the time after him and regrets after jumping in his coach.
Thanks for the visit
I know missed Throwback Thursday, but anyway, here's a contribution and a confession..
This is my lovely wife back in the day with her beautiful black Z28. You know me as a die hard Ford guy....BUT, I loved this car. It was cool, fast and did really nice burn outs.
So wait, that's actually two confessions...1st that I loved a Chevy and 2nd that I drove this like I stole it when wifey wasn't around. It held it's own against a few 5.0 Stangs. And she's wondered all these years why motor blew up on her...
But I'm trusting you all can keep that just between us..
peace...ACE

I must admit to being tired and uninspired on this sunrise photo shoot - there wasn't much color in the landscape or the light. However, I did like the tonal range when converted to B&W and the reflections of the clouds in the water did seem to balance the overall image.

From the early 1980’s through the 1990’s and a few years in to the new millennium the “oldies” radio format was pervasive across the country. Every city of substance seemed to have one on the dial. I was raised on this music and formed the foundation for my lifetime love and/or obsession for and with the music of the 1960’s. I love it all from the British Invasion, folk rock, garage bands, psychedelic bands and pretty much everything in between. Stevens Point Wisconsin is one of the few places that still has an oldies station. 92.1 “True Oldies”, riding in the crew van to and from the yard we’ve got the greatest hits of the 60’s rocking the radio. On this particularly pleasant night the Grass Roots 1968 hit “Midnight Confessions” was on the air when we pulled in, fitting for the time. Released in the summer of ‘68 Midnight Confession finally hit #5 on the charts by the fall becoming the bands biggest seller. Arriving in Point this night we found our train was still quite a ways out yet so I wandered the grounds with the camera and captured a few images,
However many cities I go to my past follows me and gets there first. An age of silence springs to life, improvising on where I have been before to trace the map of an island chain.

An abandoned chapel with some nice details - lots of serious structural damage inside but still photogenic.
The man down Italian toll tour. Taking in some Italian delights on a 4 day explore.
