It appears that plants have more awareness than it seems. Trees can communicate and sometimes work to keep nearby stumps alive. These trees might be deep in conversation about their fallen friend.
I got to wander around town for a whole day with an empty head and open eyes - what a luxury. It's a compact city and very pedestrian friendly and the rain (mostly) held off.
This is Conference Center House on The Terrace, reflected in the windows of 113 The Terrace, via a six shot pano.
Me: "Boss, We've Got To Stop Testing Our Product On Animals."
Boss: "Why? Shampoo Companies Do It All The Time."
Me: "Yes, But We Make Dildos."
This was the confereence room used by Churchilla dn his Government when using Down Street station as a bunker during WWII. You can still see the markings on the floor marking when false walls were erected.
Down Street, also known as Down Street (Mayfair), is a disused station on the London Underground, located in Mayfair, west London. It was opened in 1907 by the Great Northern, Piccadilly and Brompton Railway. It was latterly served by the Piccadilly line and was situated between Dover Street (now named Green Park) and Hyde Park Corner stations.
The station was little used and trains often passed through it without stopping. Its lack of patronage coupled with its proximity to other stations resulted in its closure in 1932. During the Second World War it was used as a bunker by prime minister Winston Churchill and his War Cabinet. The station building survives today and is close to Down Street's junction with Piccadilly.
Girls from Siri's wife's school. They sang the Sri Lankan national anthem at the beginning of the conference.
Oh good lord it is beautiful today.
And the trees here are wonderful.
Looks about a hundred times better On Black

Hey friends, would you like to own this as an 8x10 print? Well, now you can! Just head on over to my etsy shop:
Amtrak First Class Conference Car 9800 brings up the rear of a charter train as it cruises away from Harrison Station. As the lettering across the rear suggests, the car is a converted Metroliner (originally Penn Central 863) one of two Metroliner snack bar coaches known to still exist - the other being 860 at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. The special charter train was operated to bring the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team up to New York to face off against the Rangers - a game the visitors would win 8 - 5.
