Memories of early morning, summer sunrises at 5:20 a.m. (A necessary evil for Golden Hour with LOTS of coffee afterwards ).

Don't be fooled by the EXIF: The sky was added from a still shoot minutes before the L.E. for the effect I wanted.

Odetta Holmes (December 31, 1930 – December 2, 2008), known as Odetta, was an American singer, actress, guitarist, songwriter, and a civil and human rights activist, often referred to as "The Voice of the Civil Rights Movement".[4] Her musical repertoire consisted largely of American folk music, blues, jazz, and spirituals. An important figure in the American folk music revival of the 1950s and 1960s, she was influential to many of the key figures of the folk-revival of that time, including Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Mavis Staples, and Janis Joplin. Time included her song "Take This Hammer" on its list of the All-Time 100 Songs, stating that "Rosa Parks was her No. 1 fan, and Martin Luther King Jr. called her the queen of American folk music."

This was taken at an Ottawa concert a year before her death.

In the Swietokrzyska Filharmonia in Kielce, Poland, light is very impotant element of decoration. Colors , it's intensity and shades changes during the concert depends on the mood of a piece of music.

It was awesome!

(My camera was acting up and I didn't get any good shots - decided to play around with this in photoshop).

I would love to see his capture!)

if you aren't up front sitting in the seats, then this is your view from the grass...taken Mon.night at the free Icy Demons/Feelies concert

While he was rocking out relatively far back from the front of the stage, Brendon Small was still a fun subject to photograph during this gig. If I'm allowed an observation, Small was very, very serious while playing.

Thessaloniki Concert Hall is a centre for the performing arts in Thessaloniki, Greece. It opened in 2000 on land donated by the Greek state. The complex has two main buildings: M1, with an auditorium that seats 1400; and M2, in more contemporary style by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, with a number of smaller performance spaces.
