I slowly take root in the bosom of the earth. As everything begins to lose its meaning now, all my senses of awareness, trapped in the dark corridors of my mind, begin to cry out in agony. In this phase of total darkness, I am walking towards the horizon of metaphysics. Now I see, hear and feel. After this stage, am I reading the book or is the book reading me?

Today is celebration day... my Bday :)
This is me, an experiment in conceptual photography. I know it's not the best, but I liked the light/shadow effect and color editing I did.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

yes I am a big fan of white lilies...
Lilium longiflorum.
This plant is native to Japan and the Ryūkyū Islands. It is a stem rooting lily, growing up to 1 m high and bears a number of trumpet shaped, white, very fragrant, and outward facing flowers.
We have a family of friends that we visit every year, they breed horses, wonderful people.
They have now made it a tradition that each year, on the day of our return back home, the end of our visit/holidays, they present me with a bunch of freshly-cut Lilies (one of the sons helps on a farm where they grow them for the bulbs!).
It is a bouquet that I can barely hold my arms around, I had to buy a BIG vase and even now, they are split into two displays. Our house is filled whit the fragrance.
What wonderful friends we have all over!
Thank you for your time and comments, M, (*_*)

Solitaire and solitude is not the same as loneliness!
A distinction has been made between solitude and loneliness.
In this sense, these two words refer, respectively, to the joy and the pain of being alone.
Solitaires like being alone, happy with just themselves and their world.
That does not mean that you are not social!
I love being with people however I am not sad when I am alone.
Solitude does not necessarily entail feelings of loneliness, and in fact may, for those who choose it with deliberate intent, be one's sole source of genuine pleasure.
Loneliness is a complex and usually unpleasant emotional response to isolation.
Loneliness typically includes anxious feelings about a lack of connection or communication with other beings, both in the present and extending into the future.
As such, loneliness can be felt even when surrounded by other people and one who feels lonely, is lonely.
The causes of loneliness are varied and include social, mental, emotional, and physical factors.
Take care, be safe!
Have a good day and thanks for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)
