Modern crystal clock with equally modern quartz movement. The crystal is said to be made in France. I think it is more appropriately made in France Steet, China :)
The original clock movement incorporate a non conventional battery type (E series) which was not only expansive to run but also hard to obtain. I have since replaced the electronic board and the battery type to a more mundane commonly available AA type battery.
Only Time will tell and every clock tells a story....
The problem with clock is, once you got two they start to multiply..
It all started when I acquired first clock a 1960's jap 7-day wall clock from a colleague of my mine by the name of Wong Mun Lai, a clock collector

It was a non-working clock which I wanted to hang up for display. After a while, I felt something amiss. A clock is not a clock if it does'nt work! So I took it apart and do some fixing, to my surprise I managed to get it ticking again ! I was totally fascinated From there I got my second, third and so on....
My favourite has to be the 400 day clock

At the time of writing, my collection is still growing....but has grind to a halt as my interest is now focus on nature photography
Here is my concept sketch for the Renaissance Gown I call the Brown Noble. I think it turned out pretty close. Now I need to add trim to the bodice, sleeves and bottom of the skirt.

Last week was a busy one for the People’s Junction project team.
Two successful workshops were held presenting the preliminary concepts on the Spit Junction Masterplan and Mosman Civic Centre sites to the community. Almost 80 community members, comprised of business owners and local residents participated and provided valuable feedback that will be considered by the team prior to finalising the draft Masterplan for public exhibition.
Issues such as traffic, parking, location of public spaces, pedestrian safety and heights of buildings were discussed in detail.
Conversations on tradeoffs associated with new development to assist with the renewal of community facilities and public areas were also encouraged.
There were mixed opinions, particularly about building heights and how new development would change the face of the Junction. Some people accepted that carefully planned development was necessary. Others did not support further development.
