At a time when six-wheeled Mercedes G-Class cars are trading at around 600 000 €, we thought it was important to remind you that some irréductibles Gaulois had also taken on such a crazy challenge. We are at the Paris Motor Show, in 2000, when the students of the “Institut supérieur de formation aux métiers de conception” present the fruit of their work: a remake of the famous Citroën of the «Croisière Jaune». Today in a good state of use, it is a fun and exciting car that we present to you. A mechanical revision will be necessary so that any enthusiast can use this 4 x 6 project-car in his country house. Why would you buy a classic Mercedes 6 x 6 when you can have a unique Berlingo ?

Visit on February 26, 2016 to the Detroit Autorama, America's greatest hot rod show, as it is billed. More than 1000 cars are displayed on two levels, including a few authentic original-style classics such as this sharp Chrysler concept. The car was based on the Imperial Custom Newport frame and had a number of interesting features including a continental extension kit, vinyl-and-plexiglass roof and custom pink and white interior and exterior finish.

September 28, 2014 saw the long-awaited grand opening and dedication of the Cadillac & LaSalle Museum at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan. General Motors brought the 2003 Cadillac Sixteen concept car to the grand opening and it drew lots of attention. Weighing 5000 lbs., the car is powered by a 13.6 liter 32 valve V-16 engine producing 1000 horsepower at full displacement. However, "displacement on demand" technology is used to operate on either four or eight cylinders when full power is not needed.

Introduit au salon de Francfort en 1981, le concept car Xenia basé sur une plateforme de BX pas encore dévoilée (une affaire de mois), frappera par sa modernité extérieure comme intérieure. Dessiné par Trevor Fiore, ce break monocorps aux immenses portes-papillon, d’une forme très cubique et futuriste dispose d’un intérieur digne d’une navette spatiale. Il rencontrera un immense succès et bénéficiera d’une littérature prolixe dans les journaux et revues spécialisés. En effet, bien avant l’heure, il explorera le concept de segment croisé en couplant un design sportif de coupé deux portes, avec un coffre de break et un intérieur de monos-pace. Une étude très intéressante qui a été espionnée avec soin par tous les autres constructeurs de la planète. Citroën Heritage propose ici non le concept-car, pieusement conservé, mais sa maquette initiale de style. C’est avec cette sculpture, puisqu’il s’agit d’une vraie sculpture en clay (argile synthétique) peinte, que l’artiste a défini les formes exactes de la voiture. Cette sculpture pleine (vitrage aussi en argile) est posée sur un châssis avec de vraies roues. Vous avez ainsi la possibilité d’acquérir une œuvre d’artiste totalement unique et chargée d’histoire, futuriste, technologique et esthétique.

Visit to the Studebaker National Museum on April 25, 2012. This is a fantastic museum with a wonderful collection of classics.
A concept car I never before knew existed. Designed by Brooks Stevens and built by the Italian firm Sibona-Bassano.

The May 31, 2014 Grand Grand Classic at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan.
Designed by Brooks Stevens, one of only two known to exist and likely the only two that were produced. Built on the standard 1954 Cadillac Eldorado chassis with the standard 1955 Eldorado engine and four-speed Hydra-Matic transmission. Everything else about the car is pure concept.

L' Aston Martin AM-RB 001, l'hypercar développée avec Red Bull racing F1 team combine l'esprit F1 et le style caractéristique de la marque anglaise.
Du 1er au 5 février, se déroule la 32e édition du Festival International de l'Automobile. Sous la grande verrière à l'Hôtel National des Invalides, place Vauban, à Paris, il est possible d'admirer de superbes concept-cars ainsi que la plus belle voiture de l'année.
Visit to the Walter Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Michigan during the June 7, 2014 Chrysler Employee Motorsport Association (CEMA) car show. Not only a very large car show, but the museum (now normally closed) was also open for the day.
