14th March 2009 - Woke up - still dizzy. Worse than yesterday actually. Least the vertigo effect seems to have gone, that's the more unsettling dizzy spell. Just left with an all-round blur and focus only by concentrating on the object specifically. It's hard work. I take walking up my stairs for granted, now I'm unable to do it without thinking about each step and on the very few hours sleep I've been getting this is killing me. Sigh. Yes, I'm moaning. I'd cry, but I'm not sure I'd stop.

See previous photo description for my recipe on making coffee concentrate. It's the best method of making very rich coffee at home. Easy to do and inexpensive, you can keep it 2 weeks in your refrigerator. Just fill a coffee mug up about 1/4 and add hot water. Very smooth and rich. This image shows a macro shot of the coffee in a bowl, just after I added the water to soak the ground coffee. After 12 hours, the concentrate is very dark brown and ready to use.
Played some games of 8 ball with a buddy and decided to bring the camera along. Shot with the 50mm 1.8 since it would bother me the LEAST if it got nailed with a billiard ball lol. I'll be replacing it with a 50 1.4 soon anyway.

Here is Hendrix working on his two gingerbread men, and if you have not noticed he is not a big fan of clothes or shoes, ergo topless kitchen fun.

Solar thermal in the California desert. Solar thermal collectors (which involves focusing reflected sunlight on boilers that produce steam to turn electric generators) are now the world's top renewable energy source, producing more energy than wind power, and more than geothermal, solar photovoltaic (PV) and ocean energy combined, a new report states.
