conor is always happy to model for me in all the spots filled with light. and if it's winter and he's sleeping somewhere, he may be transported to that spot. haha.
oh you guys. I'm holding conor close these days. at the beginning of december his blood work had taken a deep decline from 3 months prior. the kidney disease has progressed and we don't know if that rate of progression will continue or if it will stabilize for awhile. he has blood work done every 3 months so we'll see how it looks at the beginning of march.
on my last visit, my beloved vet told me she was retiring. that would be our last visit together. she was with me through all of Madeline's senior years and for the past many years with conor. I'm so sad to lose her. after so many years of seeing her every few months, first with Madeline and then with conor, it feels like losing a core of my support system. :(
think good thoughts for my little boy.

Con un tiempo "de perros" se nos presentó este bonito butanero (Aboño-Venta de Baños) asegurado por la 251-028 camino de León a su paso por Villanueva de la Tercia. Gracias al chivatazo de Oscar que nos alertó que podrÃa pasar, asà lo hicimos, esperando con una lluvia intensa que caÃa a plomo y que nos caló hasta los huesos, además de tener que estar haciendo vilgerÃas con los ISOS y la poca luz que tuvimos durante toda nuestra jornada. Un saludo a todos y feliz año.

it's fall! knee highs and cozy hoodies, cuddling under the blankets with conor, knitting up sweaters and drinking endless cups of tea, rainy days, changing colors and maybe, just maybe, some light that will inspire me to pick up the camera. i'm happy.
conor is in a modeling mood, posing for the camera and everything, but i end up photographing the back of his head. i'm such a great photographer ;)
My little boy is 15 years old today!
I'm following him around and trying to capture the perfect birthday image with some expired instant film :-)
...He was checking the perimeters this morning (seen here) and has spent most the afternoon sleeping (worn out from his non-stop party weekend) so we'll see, this might be it. The nap pics didn't make the cut ;) ...I'll follow him around some more in a bit!
