libre de impedimentos.
El agua, además del color,
hace brillar su espejo
para que encuentre la vida
en ligero movimiento,
y así conserve la estela

Otra imagen del chorlitejo patinegro en una playa almeriense, Me gustó componer con la inclinación de la arena en la orilla y su figura recortada contra el agua.
Se fueron acercando poco a poco, con ese porte tan elegante que los caracteriza, momentos que aproveché para fotografiarlos. Está tomada en la marisma del Joyel.

No es frecuente encontrarse con una niebla tan densa en esta zona de la costa cantábrica, por eso me acerqué a fotografiar esta reliquia industrial de las Minas de Dícido, cada vez más deteriorada.
No era mi intención hacer una larga exposición, así que no tenía el trípode, por lo que tuve que hacer una exposición múltiple de diez tomas, apoyando la cámara en una piedra plana que encontré.

Today is World Pet Memorial Day and so I wanted to honor Connor, my fluffy Corgi. He was the dog before Benni and a force of nature. I had 3 litters of 8 week old puppies to choose from but really had no choice. Connor would knock the other puppies out of the way and climb into my lap. He owned me.
He was smart, willful, fun, did amazing things like steal a whole pizza from a picnicking couple in the park and invade the kindergarten and walk on their lunch table as they ate. He pushed his way into every photo I took of little grandkids. He was my best friend and considered me his job on earth. He loved me unconditionally and wouldn't walk with anyone else when I was bedridden with a broken pelvis. He stayed with me.
I hope to meet him in Heaven - he and Benni are the dogs that are part of me now.
In the Flambeau River State Forest. It has a bit of road noise compared to the other campground in the forest, but the sites are better (larger, spaced better, and several have lake views & access).
Sunset light washes over the Yosemite high country. Afternoon storms to the east seemed to keep the smoke at bay, and provided some nice clouds for sunset.
