She attended Angelina Jolie Girls Primary School in Kakuma Refugee Camp for her primary education and later went to Gulab Lochab Academy in Eldoret for her secondary education. After completing high school, she was awarded the Dafi Undergraduate Scholarship under Windle Trust Kenya and UNHCR enabling her to pursue Journalism and Mass Communication (with a focus on Public Relations and Advertising) at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. She returned to the camp after campus and joined Solidarity Initiative for Refugees (A refugee led organisation)as an Operations and Partnerships Lead. In this role, she oversee the operations of various community projects and engagements with different agencies and other community-based organisations. She works with young women and youth, providing them with digital education and online opportunities, such as freelancing and computer programming, to help them earn a dignified living. Alongside this, she also mentors young girls and promotes social-emotional learning and environmental education for children and community members. ; Solidarity Initiative for Refugees (SIR) is a local community-based organisation established in 2016 by a group of young refugees with the goal of using technology to equip refugees in Kakuma with the skills and tools to create a better future for themselves. The organisation empowers youth in Kakuma through education access and livelihoods trainings using digital learning methods. The mission of SIR is to support youth (both men and women equally) back to the path of regaining what insecurity, discrimination, war, and disaster took away from them. Since inception in 2016, SIR has equipped over 2 000 young refugees with skills for Job linkage through partnering with organisations such as Xavier Project, Source Network, and REBANK
