“Speaker dongle and sundry computer bits”

I've had to almost completely rebuild the home/office/photography computer after persistent problems. Most of my ‘Lockdown too’ pictures have been processed using a 13 year old Dell Dimension PC and the free software that is provided for Pentax cameras.

This is the completed Furby of Borg. It was shipped off to Terri as a birthday present, it was quite the hit despite me being scared about her reaction. It's the only Furby of Borg that I've made that I've given away, I still own the other 3. It has been reported that this scares children less than Terri's Bella Saura stuffed horse. The first of these books was made for a book swap with the title "An Up-To-Date Interpretation Of The Nag Hammadi Binding".

I therefore wanted to combine old and new assocciations in one book and came up with this.

Binding: As close as possible to the Nag Hammadi Binding, given I wanted to use these Computer Boards. - Almost all stiches are tackets, and it has the characteristic close flap on the front cover, and some more technical details.

Inside: The pattered paper is Lokta paper decorated with my own lino cut, which carries details of a mother board design.

Text: A self developed cuneiform writing system. See this image made during the printing of the pages. The language is actually English :-)

Heat-Sink-Fan died on this AMD Athlon Processor. I took this picture to remember what a fried CPU would look like.

Approximately 100 chrome fan covers from discarded computers create a retro-motif wall hanging or room divider / screen. Measures 6 feet and 4 inches high by 20 inches wide.
