"As I walk the trail of life
in the fear of the wind and rain,
grant O Great Spirit
that I may always walk
like a man."

A quick edit that I have produced using a real photo of the NNRG's preserved Leyland National 2: 4710 - FTN710W and a computer generated edit of their 4861 - UPT681V. 4710 is in NBC Northern red, with 4681 in the Tyne and Wear PTE livery with Northern fleet names.
4681 is currently under restoration in the ownership of the NNRG.

Thank you!
This along with a handful of other images was created by me during the mid- and late-90's. They were generated by a 3D software app called Bryce, which was designed to create landscapes. Of course, I along with a number of other devotees pushed it into other services as you'll see by these images. Almost all these pictures required repainting (using Fractal Design's Painter) or post production of some kind. This is where I gained many of the skills that I use in working on my photos today.
Another attempt at a Volvo 9700 in the livery of a local operator, this time Garelochhead Coaches.
Struggling to represent the metallic effect of the colour scheme, it is still too 'flat'.

Mocap animations by Susan Sloane.
ARTIST STATEMENT
"One of my research interests focuses on the use of Motion Capture (Mocap) in the creation of computer animated portraits.
"I'm interested in the notion that Mocap is a document of existence in the same way that a photograph or a piece of video footage is. It is not one moment captured in time but a document of movement and identity removed from a specific time and place.
"Within these works I attempt to capture a sense of stillness and perhaps the mundane using motion captured sequences as the basis for the portraiture."

An experiment in extremely low res: 100 x 100 x 1 bit
Continuing with the "resurrecting old stuff" series, some memories from the time when I challenged myself to do the most with the least: 10000 bits of information. Or: bringing abstraction to pixel art.
Size is everything for this images, so be sure to hit 'all sizes' to see the original.
On the other hand, I'm sure filckr's 75 x 75 thumbs will look like crap (or like glitch art at the best)
Sculptured terraces
Set in stone like promises
Today will soon be gone.
A zennish haiku.
A Terragen2 created landscape which uses an image map projected cylindrically.
