Our high school has many computer labs for students to do their work on.

my dirty keyboard XD

It has an English keyboard, at the moment anyway ... too bad!! I had to phone my daughter in Scotland to find out how to type an underscore, as in ingrid_linnea! Anyway, lots of things to install and to personalize. It has to wait! At the moment I am having fun with this,

I do not know how to type smileys either!

just a little different... :)

Playing with the new camera

Tonight I came home feeling less than inspired. I actually came home feeling confused. About me.

What makes a person a person? What makes you who you are? Is it who you think you are...or what everyone else thinks you are. And what if you think you are different than people see you....

So this is my picture. It was an inviting image for me to take, but I am not really feeling it tonight. I still like it though <3

The tall office building of Motorola Schaumburg is all that is left. Motorola Headquarters closed and moved their operations to Chicago. It was cool exploring a multi floored old office building that still had old pictures and signs. This was where Motorola did all their research for telecommunications. It was a campus that provided the technology for their phones, radios and other networking systems. They were pioneers in semiconductors, radios, walkie talkies and other computer services. Motorola moved their headquarter from Schaumburg to Chicago.

Signal To Noise

Dry Reading Press

1988

Published in 1988, 'Signal To Noise' is one of the first artists' book created entirely on a Macintosh microcomputer.

'My work consists almost entirely of computer-based images in a collage of 'broken down' components, a kind of visualization of one computer's subconscious. The work I have done with microcomputers - sketching, word processing, controlling the darkroom, programming, and communicating- is preserved like an electronic attic full of drawings, letters, articles, and programs and forms the basis of Signal To Noise. The entire book was delivered to the printer on three floppy disks from which camera-ready photostats were generated.'

Using these buttons a lot lately

This is a photo of Will today in the seconds between his computer game finishing and his waiting for his result to appear on screen - bless him, he looks really stressed! Don't worry though, his score was good and he was smiling a second later lol :-)

eugh.... at its largest size, you can really see the state of the keyboards at work.... makes me feel quite queasy, especially as it's not just me that uses it.... *vomit*

The census demonstrates how information architecture has shaped the development of nations. Information architecture is behind the census' design, data collection, and even the devices used to aggregate census data.
