An early computer with a paper based terminal. I have used a Teletype terminal with a paper trail myself at the computer club of my big brother's school in the 70's. We consumed a lot of paper playing Star Trek. I'd pay good money to use one of those things to connect to the Internet these days for 15 minutes or so.
The computer lab was painted over the holiday period, so these computers, normally stacked on the floor, were stacked on the workbench.

Sinclair ZX80 home computer + ZX printer.
In order to use the printer with the ZX80, the 8KB ROM upgrade was needed.
The computer became commercially available in 1980; the spark printer was released in 1981, intended for use with the ZX81.
The Spectrum 48k. I had one as a 5-year-old in 1982, and now it's in the Science Museum in London.
That's not the original manual though - I still have mine! Notice the copy of Jet Set Willy lurking in the background. Should really have been Manic Miner....
This is my pretty new monitor. I think it fits in beatifully with my $30 garish computer case, old-school keyboard, wireless mouse, and $300 sound system (plugged into my on-board sound card).
It got a bit unwieldy with cables going everywhere, so I put it all in a box. Haven't figured out how to make this thing wearable yet, but perhaps trimming that box down and putting it in a belt attachable box? That gigantic screen has got to go, though...
