I bought this new compressor for my airbrush on Thursday!!! Haven't had a chance to try it out yet...but can't wait!!!!
The previous owners sited the air conditioner compressor roughly 30 feet into the garden away from the house, presumably to reduce the noise. However, the drainage from the gutter downspout from the water harvesting operation emptied in roughly the same spot. Moreover, the compressor lost power for every foot it was removed from the basement counter-unit. Above all, it was an eye-sore. So I had it moved. Only contractors licensed to deal with freon can move compressors. I got three bids ranging from more than $3,000 to $400. I went with a $700 bid from Larios Airconditioning in Northridge. They did a fastidious and timely job. I recommend them.
