Objective 5.03- Use geographic terminology and tools to create representations of the earth's physical and human features through simple maps, models, and pictures.

A compass can be used to illuminate the different directions and help children to read maps.

This compass and telescope are modded from children's plastic toys and have been decorated with spray paint, map-themed decoupage papers, Rub N Buff, and acrylic craft paint.

Underneath are a set of boot spats I custom drafted and sewed.

Compass Royston also operate the evening service 556 to the Transporter, working it off the last 555 at the Transporter. Solo MW52 is seen at Wellington Square on the third trip of the day from Stockton.

Compass netter now at St Fagans, this boat is from Llangwm in Pembrokeshire. It was built by one Ivor Palmer who was a master at netting salmon on the river Cleddau by using a compass net. This is a method particular to this part of the UK and is a dying art.
