Navigating the Future“ hat das Ars Electronica Center die jüngsten Technologiesprünge in seine Ausstellungen und Labs aufgenommen. Eingebettet in die 2019 gestartete künstlerisch-wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit KI und Neuro-Bionik laden eine Reihe neuer Exponate und weiterentwickelter Ausstellungsbereiche dazu ein, sich inmitten der aktuellen Begeisterungsstürme und Panikattacken wieder etwas Orientierung zu verschaffen. „Compass reloaded!“ umfasst neue Stationen von Künstler*innen und Entwickler*innen aus Österreich, Rumänien, Belgien und den USA.

A rare Siegley circular plane no 113. This circular or compass plane has seen better days. It has a broken fork adjuster and the body has been cracked and repaired with welding at the front. It appears to have seen heavy use as it lacks a lot of it's original japanning and the nickel plating on the beautiful adjusting knob is also rather spotty. The plane still features a good length and original cutter marked J Siegley. Apart from the damage, the plane is still fully functional. It has been dismantled and cleaned and is again ready for use.

Atlantic Compass arriving on a grey wet morning in the Mersey for her final time, as she swung to port, she gave a long blast on the whistle in a salute to the city she has served for over thirty years. Atlantic Compass is the second of the old G3 class to make way for the new G4 Atlantic Sail. When she departs, she will have the ACL painted out on the housing.
