Did you know there's a "secret room" in the basement of the Central Library where extra copies and little used books live? Thanks to compact shelving we can fit more into a smaller space. Hard to believe our vibrant new Children's Room used to be filled with storage!
One thing that has always stood out to me in the Netherlands is the way Dutch homeowners often create the most formal but compact gardens on their front lawns. Dutch people are very structured.. linearity is ingrained in them from the perfectly alingned rows of trees planted on reclaimed land to the perfectly designed geometric logos of Martinair or Transavia..scattered or random designs just don't come from the Dutch and that is reflected in how they organize their gardens in their own personal settings like this pretty one.
UPPER ROOF - Repotted the Compact Thyme and returned them to the the upper roof. These plants were originally purchased from Richters Herbs last year. Planters are not SIPs.
This uncle actually used the plastic bag as seen tucked under his watch to waterproof his camera. He did scowl when his battery died later on. LOL

Some shots from visiting a Getai last week. Weather was bad with light showers, the crowds were terrible and we had no way to get close to the stage. Nevertheless, it was a good experience to see how its like in person.
Interestingly, ISO 400 was sufficient in shooting some of the scenes. The flashing lightbulbs did wreck havoc to my ability to focus!
