Another awsome Sport Compact event at WSID.Loads of cars made the trek from all over Aus to compete.Almost capacity entries on the track & a great selection of hot cars on show.

The presentation standard of Sport Compact drag cars has really amazed me so far this year, with a lot of the top runner track cars looking like prestine show cars with candy pearl paint jobs,tastefull air brushing and graffix and tuff drag spec rims all round. these guys have definatly stepped it up a notch!

Took a whole lot of photo's throughout the day, but unfortunatly forgot my memory backup so was limited to 4G worth of space...Ahhhrr.

This is the close up of the logo on my Walther CP99 Compact BB Gun. It's all metal and punches holes into glass and metal like butter. I thought it'd be nice to take it out of context and focus on the texture of the gun. Looks quite nice, could be better!

Despite the tight fit, this is one of Strummer's favorite places to park himself for a nap.

Missing a lot, the only marking is Bulldozer, Scale 1/64. Just had to have it.

Compact Discs were a great friend for 25 years. This is a "30 count" box.

Driving home we noticed this chair sitting on a nature strip. I disembarked so I could get this photo for my project.

I apologise for the delay in uploading images. I have been taking them each day, but have been too busy to upload them. I'll catch up soon!

This is a personal project and challenge to capture a photo per day for a year of anything or anyone WITHOUT using my DSLR.

Lost it's color

This is a half-second exposure at ISO800 of a lit compact fluorescent bulb taken with a homemade pinhole "lens" on a Nikon D80. The estimated focal length is 50mm and the aperture diameter is about 0.10mm, resulting in a f/500! Super slow!

Did you know there's a "secret room" in the basement of the Central Library where extra copies and little used books live? Thanks to compact shelving we can fit more into a smaller space. Hard to believe our vibrant new Children's Room used to be filled with storage!
