My favorite nursery sold me this grafted version (the nursery calls it podocarpus gracillor "compacta") which grows to approx 8ft tall and 4ft wide. Do all the searches you want online and you won't find the "compacta". So here it is and I really hope the nursery is right. It looks more refined and dense than the yew pine (podocarpus macrophyllus var maki which has similar dimensions).

Is this a hybrid? Never seen before or since at this site. Reminds me of a male Mandarin but obviously the colours are not right.
