Four famous cameras out of the popular Big Mini series of 35mm point & shoot cameras by Konica. Though they are popular, it is not easy to get an overview over all models and their specs. An attempt.
Besides the one in the picture above, there are
Jr BM-20, SR BM-100 and EX BM-101 (Jr probably for junior, SR perhaps senior), cheaper models, e.g the BM-100 has a slower lens (4.3/34).
VX BM-701 with 4/29 lens and panorama function.
BM-21 with 4.5/30 lens.
Big Minis with a Z in its name have a zoom lens, also the Big Mini Neo(-R), Big Mini Standa, Big Mini Zoom and Big Mini Nou 135.
The BM S-100 and BM S-70 are for APS films
And then there are the four camera in the picture, which have a good reputation and are a bit more sought-after:
A4, BM-201, HG BM-300 (also representing the BM-301 and BM-302) and F.
A4 (1989) Okay, it is not known as the Big Mini, but it is cleary a forerunner and sometimes you can actually find it badged as Big Mini BM-101. It features the 3.5/35 lens with a manual close-up function. It has the rectangular lens housing and unlike the following models it has a sliding lens protection.
BM-201 (1990) It still has the rectangular lens housing, but the sliding lens protecion was replaced by a not removeable UV-filter. The close-up function works automatically now and the manual exposure correction (+- 1.5EV) was added
HG BM-300, BM-301 and BM-302 (1995). It is a series of three cameras and it is hard to tell the differences. Different colors? With or without data back? I even can't find out what "HG" means. The design changed a bit: round lens housing and the hint of a grip now. Red-eye-reduction flash mode and focus setting to infinity were added.
F (1997) just F, no more BM-number. It has a new, faster lens: 2.8/35. In my opinion the F was only available with data back.

The first series of cameras to carry just the Fuji name to celebrate 50 years of Fuji Photo Film Company. Released in April 1987, a true plastic fantastic and instant classic. This one is absolutely still new in the box - just as it looked when it left the factory 32 years ago!

21st August 2018, Hamburg, Germany. Lomo Purple XR 400, shot at 100, in a Ricoh R1.
Picture taken by putting the camera on self-timer and propping it on a stationary object and letting it take its time with the shutter speed and aperture.
I've owned this camera for 20 years! Read the post on randomphoto.blogspot.com/2021/07/how-could-i-ignore-my-ro...
