Les Corsaires ont eu deux semaines pour préparer la réception de Plabennec dimanche après-midi. Un match à prendre au sérieux pour Benoît Guilmin après la victoire à Quimper (5 - 22).
Qu’as-tu pensé de la victoire à Quimper ?
C’était un déplacement particulier pour moi car j’ai commencé à jouer au RCB (Rugby Club Bigouden) qui est en entente avec le RCQ chez les jeunes. Nous savions que ça n’allait pas être une partie de plaisir.
On a su être ferme en défense pour ne pas engranger trop de points. Devant les gros on fait un superbe match, sur les différents axes de jeu. Derrière on a eu un peu plus de mal à mettre notre jeu en place avec entre autres des petits problèmes de course ou de timing. Rien de bien grave, on va rectifier ça. On prend le point de bonus à l’extérieur. Ce n’est pas rien pour recoller à Bruz qui était exempt.
Revenons sur le début de saison. Le XV Corsaire est dans le vrai par rapport aux objectifs ?
Oui les objectifs sont respectés. Malgré une défaite à la maison contre Bruz, on prend quand même 4 bonus offensifs sur 5 matchs joués.
Le niveau de jeu s’améliore de jour en jour car le staff fait ce qu’il faut pour nous faire progresser. Il y a une concurrence à tous les postes, ce qui nous permet de nous dépasser et surtout de prendre du plaisir lors des entraînements et des matchs.
Place à la rencontre face à Plabennec… On prépare ce match avec sérieux parce qu’on sait que Plabennec est une bonne équipe, solide devant avec des 3/4 qui déplacent bien le ballon à la main, et au pied également !
Ils viennent de perdre chez eux contre Saint-Brieuc. Ils ne vont pas faire trois heures de bus pour rien, ils auront les dents longues… Mais nous aussi.
La bonne entame de match du CJF Saint Malo a sans aucun doute été la clé du match, face à Plabennec. Les Malouins ont mis seulement deux minutes à inscrire leur premier essai. En ayant toujours la volonté d'asphyxier leur adversaire, les locaux mettent beaucoup d'engagement et de vitesse et seront récompensés par quatre essais en 20 minutes. Malgré une équipe de Plabennec plus compacte et plus joueuse en fin de période, les Malouins vont inscrire un essai leur permettant de mener 31 à 3 à la pause.
Sérieux et ténacité
Les Plabennécois reviennent en deuxième période avec d'autres intentions. Ce sursaut d'orgueil va donner lieu à deux essais pour revenir à 34-15. Le match devient plus équilibré avec des Malouins, en baisse de régime, qui s'installent sur un faux rythme et des visiteurs qui mettent plus d'impact. Mais c'est sans compter sur le sérieux et la ténacité des Malouins qui iront inscrire un ultime essai par Rougé (75e) pour clôturer ce match. Pour le coach malouin, Olivier Le Guern, « le contrat est rempli avec cette victoire et ce bonus offensif qui permet de rester en haut de tableau ».

The Basra Compact, a flagship partnership to revive the economy in southern Iraq
Basra, 05 May 2015 – The authorities of Basra and the UN Development Programme (UNDP) today signed a flagship agreement, the Basra Compact, aiming at strengthening participatory and accountable governance and reviving the economic activity in the southern governorate, which is not just oil-rich but needs to invest in its human capacity and private sector development. Protecting the cultural and ecological heritage of the Mesopotamian Marshlands is also a priority.
Despite being the richest governorate and hosting the main port in Iraq, Umm Qasr—the only shipping hub in the country—Basra is one of the most affected by poverty and chronic unemployment with 16.1% of the population living below the poverty line of US$ 2.5 per day and facing staggering challenges in terms of access to services.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with Basra authorities outlines future cooperation in the areas of decentralization, financial management and budget execution, environment protection, private sector development including micro, small and medium enterprises, and supporting the governorate’s 5-year strategic planning.
“Working with local partners is a fundamental element of national ownership,” the Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General and UNDP Resident Representative, Lise Grande, said. “This translates into UNDP’s support for the local network of the Global Compact promoting responsible business practices in the areas of gender, human rights, labour standards, environment, service delivery and anti-corruption,” she explained.
UNDP has nearly 40 years of experience in Iraq leading the UN’s development work, providing knowledge and practical expertise. In its long-term engagement with the government and the people of Iraq, UNDP focuses on inclusive participation, accountability, access to justice, women’s empowerment, security sector reform, decentralization and private sector development. In particular, UNDP supports the government’s 4-year development plans (2014-2017).

Another awsome Sport Compact event at WSID.Loads of cars made the trek from all over Aus to compete.Almost capacity entries on the track & a great selection of hot cars on show.
The presentation standard of Sport Compact drag cars has really amazed me so far this year, with a lot of the top runner track cars looking like prestine show cars with candy pearl paint jobs,tastefull air brushing and graffix and tuff drag spec rims all round. these guys have definatly stepped it up a notch!
Took a whole lot of photo's throughout the day, but unfortunatly forgot my memory backup so was limited to 4G worth of space...Ahhhrr.
