I had no idea we had somewhere like this in anchorage. It's like wall-e! But not as bad. I'm one hundred percent positive I was not supposed to be in there... but no one stopped me.
I'm not sure about the editing on this... I think I'll redo it, But i just love the red of the compactor.

This was taken at a housing estate. Blocks of flats like this are a common sight in Hong Kong.
One shot RAW converted HDR to bring out the details in the building.

This uncle actually used the plastic bag as seen tucked under his watch to waterproof his camera. He did scowl when his battery died later on. LOL

Some shots from visiting a Getai last week. Weather was bad with light showers, the crowds were terrible and we had no way to get close to the stage. Nevertheless, it was a good experience to see how its like in person.
Interestingly, ISO 400 was sufficient in shooting some of the scenes. The flashing lightbulbs did wreck havoc to my ability to focus!

I bought the Farfisa Compact Duo from California with no Farfisa F/AR power supply and Reverb Unit recently , SO I then bought a Farfisa Transicord accordion in Sweden.... with a Farfisa F/AR power supply and Reverb Unit......
The 2 farfisas had different power cables, one was USA (7 pins) and one was EU (the 10 pin Hischmann mes100 I believe)
wow.... so I had to get my electrical hat on....
Using the circuit diagram of the 2 different plugs
and run tiny cables from 1 to the the other.....
and IT WORKED !!!!!!
