La strada Regia è l'antico percorso via terra tracciato lungo la riva occidentale del Lago di Como, nacque come raccordo degli antichi sentieri, prendendo questo nome nell'anno 1187.

Il momento in cui il sole è sceso sotto l'orizzonte e il cielo assume una particolare tonalità molto amata dai fotografi e dagli artisti in generale viene chiamato "ora blu".Questo termine deriva dal francese Heure Bleue ed è quel momento in cui nell'atmosfera viene diffusa una luce di colore blu/violetto mentre quella rossa si perde direttamente nello spazio.
I toni scuri di questo momento della giornata,non riescono a nascondere i dettagli di quello che state fotografando come invece succede quando si scatta di notte.Ci sono due momenti della giornata in cui è possibile approfittare di queste specifiche condizioni di luce,mezz'ora prima dell'alba e altrettanti minuti dopo il tramonto quando il cielo ha un colore piu' ricco ed intenso

Como Lake can be seen from both California Pass and Hurricane Pass. You can see Hurricane Pass where to road on the left side ends.
I usually do these pass roads on the first full day I have in the San Juans.
This is located between Hurricane Pass and California Pass. I am shooting from California Pass. Whenever to go to the San Juans, I always go here.
The first trails I do every year are Corkscrew Gulch, Hurricane Pass, California Pass to Animas Forks Ghost Town. I have done this same loop over 20 times.
Last year I added Placer and Picayune gulches. Really enjoyed seeing them again.
This was shot from California Pass. You can see Hurricane Pass in the reddish area in the upper left center. The road on the left is the one I drove from Hurricane Pass to California Pass.
Where I shot this is around 13,000 feet. Even without good light, this is still one of the best views in the San Juans.
The road you see on the left is the one to Hurricane Pas. The one to the right goes to Poughkeepsie Gulch. Although you can't tell from this photo, the road to Hurricane is a ledge road, but not real narrow. You can also see a vehicle on the road to give it scale.

Como Lake is a small lake in Como Lake Park in the city of Coquitlam, British Columbia. It forms the headwaters of the Como watershed and is an urban fishing and recreation area in the city of Coquitlam as well as the Lower Mainland.
