Snatched at Moor Street in Birmingham, this one has been through more crops than many arable farms. I wanted to do something with the contrast between the warm and cold lights and the interesting diagonals.

Took this last October, just got round to scanning. This is my second ever shot on Astia - I think it suits the scene well. After neglecting 35mm for 120 for a while, I'm coming back... there's certain advantages to the format and with ISO 50-100 slide film, I think it still trumps digital (that I might afford anyway) for resolution.

Detail of my commuting from the first day at our Northern Virginia office until my last. That very clear outlier? Yeah, that was the earthquake. I drove on only a few days... one of them being my last day: that was an aggravating journey.
