It was time to commute to work. You never had to wait for long. Just stand there looking like you might want to go somewhere and a tuk tuk will appear.

See the hills rising straight up behind the shops? And look at all those wires. Everywhere, strung haphazardly to and fro, to connect every little shop to electricity. Check out the pile of building materials about to fall off the roof of the little shop to the left. And you think Rikki's is a mix match of construction and add ons?

And this dude wearing flip flops and riding an ancient, rusty Schwinn passed me on my commute! Worse, I could barely keep up with him.

Took this last October, just got round to scanning. This is my second ever shot on Astia - I think it suits the scene well. After neglecting 35mm for 120 for a while, I'm coming back... there's certain advantages to the format and with ISO 50-100 slide film, I think it still trumps digital (that I might afford anyway) for resolution.
