Took this last October, just got round to scanning. This is my second ever shot on Astia - I think it suits the scene well. After neglecting 35mm for 120 for a while, I'm coming back... there's certain advantages to the format and with ISO 50-100 slide film, I think it still trumps digital (that I might afford anyway) for resolution.

Almost 3 weeks without highway 40, the main traffic artery in St. Louis, and still no major problems.

I'm trying a slightly different route for my commute home. This is the elevation profile for the final three miles of my bike commute.

These were taken on my way home from work along northbound I-275 between I75 and I94 (Monroe and Wayne Counties, Michigan.)

Map showing zones based on analysis of commuting patterns of people in England's West Midlands region. Based on a 33% self-containment threshold (so one third of residents in each zone also work there and one third of workers in each zone also live there).

Our 2x6-car DEMU set was delayed by this late-running class S9 stopper that terminated in the centre platform here. Our very crowded train then became packed; any means of getting aboard adopted if available.

Found another bit of lovely countryside to take me off the main roads on my commute. It's also more direct than the main road. Result!

There are lots of lines on the subway - handholds, railings, lights. When you step back and think of the ordinary its amazing how many details are there.
