ππͺ What an incredible morning at the beach clean-up in Callao Salvaje, Tenerife! Thanks to the amazing turnout of passionate volunteers, we managed to collect a staggering 423.6 kg of rubbish, helping to protect our beautiful coastline and marine life. π π΄ It was inspiring to see so many people come together for a common goal: to care for our planet and make a real difference. Every effort counts, and today, we proved that teamwork and community spirit can create a cleaner, brighter future. ππ Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed, thanks to @breathingwatertenerife for coming with their kayaks and thanks to our sponsors @myndhotels & @oceanbeer for making this possible! #BeachCleanUp #CanaryGreen #CallaoSalvaje #OceanConservation #ProtectOurPlanet #CommunityPower

Food Bank For New York City partnered with United Way of New York City, City Harvest and The Roundtable to host a rally on the steps of City Hall on May 23, 2024 urging Mayor Eric Adams and the New York City Council to restore funding for food assistance programs. The Mayor has cut funding in his proposed budget by roughly 50 percent for food assistance programs as demand for New Yorkβs network of food pantries and soup kitchens has increased by a staggering 80 percent in recent years.
