The pre-meeting with Stéphanie Germain, Arianne Justafort and Ricardo Lamour set the stage for a deep dive into Canada's origin story and its impact on its Black Quebec residents. The CEO facilitated a training session for grassroots change makers as part of the BRLF's High Impact Mega Watershed project. During the session, he focused on key topics essential for effective leadership and community engagement. Firstly, he emphasized the qualities and characteristics that define a successful grassroots leader, highlighting traits such as empathy, resilience, and a deep understanding of local issues.

 

He stressed the importance of leading by example and building trust within the community.

Additionally, the CEO delved into the importance of effective communication skills for grassroots leaders. He discussed various strategies for clear and impactful communication, including active listening, non-verbal cues, and adapting communication styles to different audiences. He emphasized the power of storytelling and shared experiences in conveying messages and inspiring action within the community.

Overall, the CEO's training session provided valuable insights and practical guidance for grassroots change makers, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to drive positive change within their communities under the BRLF's High Impact Mega Watershed project.
