I'm fairly intirgued with taking portraits without showing the subject's face. This is Simon a communication designer. Taken on Sunday during the RMIT Open Day.
This is Erin. A communication designer.
Not as sophisticated a lighting set-up as the other day, but happy and cheery subjects in frame. You might notice the greenish cast on the images... I forgot to turn of the florescent lights in the room.
A exercise in collaboration, Communication Design students of this elective worked on projects in small groups as little as 2 and as large as 10. Through it all they functioned based on their expertise as photographers, stylists, photo retouchers, video editors, writers, and most importantly to this class- as art directors. Focus was on product advertising, Fashion editorial and music video production.
