The farmhouse Poggio Amorelli owned by the couple Adriana and Marco Mazzarrini is located in one of the most beautiful area in Chianti, near to the village of Castellina in Chianti and one of part of the wineyards are also in Maremma, near the village of Magliana in Tuscany.
It embraces 40 hectars land; 15 hectars of wineyard specialized in the production of Chianti Classico DOCG, Gallo Nero and of Morellino di Scansano DOCG.
The Wine production started in 1987, but only in 1995, with the restoration of the wine cellar and with the change in equipments for the wine production, the products started in receiving awards for its quality.
The wines are sold both on the national market as also in foreign countries, majority in Germany and USA. The aim of the Mazzarrini family is to grow in quality and not in quantity, to maintain the characteristics and the management of the family owned company, the only peculiarity to be different in a global market that push towards uniformity of traditions and tastes.

My cats are free for going out when they want but they usually don't cross the road. I have told you other times that they are happy when I go with them for a walk in font of the house, close to the sea, when there are rocks, sand, bushes, birds and bugs.

Located on the Teleport Campus in Staten Island, Corporate Commons Three is a new 330,000 SF Class A office building. The 8-story office community is designed with all of the top design features and amenities found in Manhattan office buildings. Unique to the existing Staten Island office market, Corporate Commons Three will feature a 40,000 SF green roof with an organic farm, including beehives to make honey, all of which will supply the building’s non-profit on-site restaurant.
The design concept for Corporate Commons three is marked by the building’s unique profile with two dynamic, angled glass facades with vertical fins that provide both ample daylight and passive solar protection. At its base, a long angular overhang adds shading to a pedestrian path. A public art program to beautify the surrounding context will connect the nearby building through the landscaping and local art. The project is pursuing LEED certification and will preserve green space on the property through the creation of a temporary nursey to house tens of thousands of indigenous plants and hundreds of native plant communities, which will enable those species to be replanted on the grounds once the building is complete.

I don't see her among the members of "Happy Caturday" but I remember that she has posted sometimes photos in the group.
She lost her brave Kakashi this week after more than 20 years living happy with her. She is devastated ❤.
While they are fixing the Parliement our elected representative are(sometime) seating in this building.

The lilac-breasted roller (Coracias caudatus) is an African member of the roller family of birds. It is widely distributed in sub-Saharan Africa and the southern Arabian Peninsula, preferring open woodland and savanna; it is largely absent from treeless places. Usually found alone or in pairs, it perches conspicuously at the tops of trees, poles or other high vantage points from where it can spot insects, lizards, scorpions, snails, small birds and rodents moving about at ground level.
Nesting takes place in a natural hole in a tree where a clutch of 2–4 eggs is laid, and incubated by both parents, who are extremely aggressive in defence of their nest, taking on raptors and other birds. During the breeding season the male will rise to great heights, descending in swoops and dives, while uttering harsh, discordant cries. The sexes are alike in coloration. Juveniles do not have the long tail feathers that adults do.
This species is unofficially considered the national bird of Kenya.

The major figure in reviving old enameling techniques in England was Alexander Fisher (1864-1936), who trained as a silversmith until inspired by French artisan Louis Dalpayrat with whom he studied. Fisher was an influential teacher and author on enameling, and his pieces are generally associated with the Arts & Crafts movement. He contributed to the art magazines of the time, such as Studio. He published his book in 1906: The Art of Enamelling upon Metal: with a Short Appendix Concerning Miniature Painting on Enamel; it’s available online at archive.org/details/artofenamellingu00fishuoft
His major work was a series of enameled plaques showing scenes from the operas of Richard Wagner. The plaque with two scenes from Tristan and Isolde dates from 1896 and is made of nickel silver, enamel and opals. An 1898 plaque with three figures is made of enamel and silver. Both are on display at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond
