It is always tough to choose a “favorite” when I look back on the year. The expected, and the unexpected, experiences from the the field are always fun to reflect on. The one that particularly stands out in my mind is this photo of the Apache Railway’s Alcos smoking it up rolling out of Snowflake, AZ. We lit out to go find them in the morning, tracked them back to snowflake, and then waited. And waited, and waited, and waited some more, for them to be done with their interchange work. There’s not a lot of heads up when they leave, so you really have to commit to setting up and hanging out. Thankfully, the longer we waited, the better the weather was getting, and it was peaceful sitting in the desert and waiting. After a while, we heard the distinctive horn and Alco growl. Not long after, they rolled around the corner in this gorgeous afternoon lighting smoking ’em up, and putting on a show befitting of their power. What a day, what a scene, what a memory.

In our track tests, it sprinted from zero to 60 mph in a scant 2.8 seconds. That's a dazzling performance, but it trails that of the McLaren 720S. That car made the run in just 2.7 seconds. Handling is nimble, especially when you consider this Ferrari's relatively hefty curb weight. The engine note is mellifluous, and the car's brakes are potent enough to bring this beast to a quick and decisive standstill.

Solarpunk is a subgenre of speculative fiction that imagines a future where humans coexist harmoniously with nature and technology, integrating them seamlessly into the environment. However, the small mountain town featured in the Solar Punk Series paints a slightly different picture, portraying a sleepy locale largely untouched by historical change, with the exception of the thriving and abundant wildlife that now permeates the surroundings.
The DaD "Positano Cobblestone Pathway" has been used to create the courtyard in this scene, but is a full kit for creating beautiful paths. It is intricately designed and offers a range of texture options. Additionally, the Swank & Co. Love Meter Oak enhances the ambiance of the setting and would also complement various other environments. Both items are available for purchase at their respective main stores.

The back door at the foot of the early 15th century Clock Tower, St Albans.
The door, leading on to French Row, has the words 'Commit No Nuisance' stencilled on it. It resulted from a report of the Council's Highways and Plans and Nuisances Sub-Committee of 19th July 1915.
Point 3 stated, 'Attention has been called to the fact that nuisances are frequently committed by persons near the door on the west side of the Clock Tower, and urine finds its way under the doorway, and your Sub-Committee have given instructions for the step down to the floor to be filled in with concrete and flaunced off to stop any liquid getting into the building and have directed that a warning notice should be put up on the door against committing nuisances.'
I can confidently state with hand on heart that I saw no nuisances being committed at the time of my visit!

"Commit no nuisance" sign on the medievil clocktower at St Albans, Hertfordshire.
Built between 1404 and 1412 the Clock Tower is one of only two medieval belfries in England. Giving fine views of the Abbey, Roman Verulamium and the City centre, the tower with its fine bell has survived almost 600 years of use.

It is not within the realm of their God-given talents&abilities. It is beyond GODs plan&purpose for their life.Now,Im not saying that the achievement of goals doesnt require effort,education,training,or the development of skills.
Those factors are always necessary in the attainment of any goal that is worthy.God doesnt give us talents&abilities that are fully developed.He requires that we sharpen them&mature in their use.
ITs another thing entirely to commit yourself to becoming an opera singer when you cant carry a tune in a bucket.

The Nature Collective is looking to add more volunteers to our growing team! We are looking for fellow nature lovers with a keen sense of wonder and adventure who want to make a difference in both our virtual and physical worlds. The following positions are available:
Nature Scouts: Responsible for scouting out nature locations to join The Nature Collective as well as monthly location checks of TNC members.
Nature Ambassadors: Will help out with SL group, Discord and social media member engagement and help answer any questions from group members.
TNC Bloggers: Will be responsible for blogging about TNC member locations, either on a personal blog or Flickr, as well as using TNC member locations as backdrops for general photos and blog posts.
