Frederik L. Levy designed this building for the dry-goods trade in 1899. The symbolism is clear enough. Note the building on the top right: Copenhagen's Stock Exchange, with its fantastic dragon spire. Levy was also the architect behind the chapel at the Jewish Cemetery.
