40 Commando (CDO) Royal Marines (RM) are deployed on CFX exercise, at Thetford in preparation for future operations.
The exercise consits of each company group occupying a Forward Operating Base (FOB) and working within that location for 36 hours then moving to the next FOB.
You know, one has to wonder how a commando droid really works. Commandos have to sneak around, infiltrate, and work behind enemy lines. I mean, do these change into toasters or something to hide?

I finished these two Commandos a few weeks back but hadn't got round to posting them, so here they are.
Again using Tony Barton's headsculpts, along with DML uniforms and equipment, webbing etc painted. The jerkin was also given a wash with acrylics. The helmet is a hybrid custom job.
3rd March - UK Commando Force work with German U-Boat S185 on Winter Deployment 26.
Shore Reconnaissance Troop and Special Observers from 148 Battery, both of which are from Surveillance and Reconnaissance Squadron (SRS), 30 Commando, worked with German U-Boat 35 S185, a type 212A Submarine, as part of Exercise Cold Response 26.
SRS boarded the German U-boat using an Inflatable Raiding Craft and stowing all their kit before diving below the surface.
Once in position, they disembarked the boat under the guise of night to establish an observation post to allow 148 Battery to confirm a target to a partner force ship to execute naval fires.

I tried to pose the figure like DVD cover I have. However, the arms are fixed so I could not make the arms and hands grab the Grenade and the knife. Well, it is close enough

Picked up a good haul of vintage Commando Comics at Vintage Nostalgia, very happy! I went through a whole suitcase and just picked out a handful by my favourite couple of illustrators, mostly Jose Maria Jorge and John Ridgway, but a couple by Denis McLoughlin and Gordon Livingstone too.
Ship Takeover: Commando Style ⚔️
After fast-roping from a Merlin Mk4 onto HMS Prince of Wales, Royal Marines from 42 Commando swept through the ship to locate and extract an isolated person as part of a close-quarters training serial.
Royal Navy Photographers captured the action as Commandos moved through the ship, clearing compartments and securing the ship.
