Hi all,
We have just restocked the sold out printed commando helmets now. And we made more two new ones for you. Niner and Skirata helmets. By the way, we also release a new color dark gray in our Sci-Fi helmets. Hope you like it.
But I'm sorry that we can't make it for the other sold out items at this time. e.g. Utapau and 501st airborne helmets. And due to the post office closing schedule. We will temporarily close store from 9th December to 1st of next January. I'm sorry again for inconvenience.
I've been building my Space Police army recently but I have fallen behind with pictures.
Time to put that to rights, I'll start small with these three commandos. Watch out for more coming soon!

I finally finished Zondkar Commando with many varieties of weapons and equipment , worth around 10 Commando name , I took that piece that covered the front of the pelvis and I colored the head with black stripes .
The Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge
Another trawl through the archives. this was taken more years ago than I care to remember on my first digital camera, an old Fuji Finepix. The quality is a bit dodgy but I think it is a good representation of the atmosphere of the place.

1979 Dodge 100 Commando G08 cherry picker registered AMS182V, off the road since 1998. Still carries the livery of Ritchies of Haddington, who were engaged with international haulage and evidently access hire services too. The Dodge is visible in this position from satellite view going back at least 17 years. It almost looks like a Matchbox or Dinky toy in this charming colour scheme... Seen here hiding in some bushes in East Lothian in January 2026.

The plaque on the monument reads "In memory of the officers and men of the commandos who died in the Second World War 1939–1945. This country was their training ground."

Miami International's compounds were notorious - and mostly inaccessible!
In my case I never got to try so I had to be content with just some brief glimpses from Eastern Airlines Tristar, DC-10 and Boeing 727 cabin windows when flying in and out during a 1980s family holiday
In this shot there's a real mix.
Behind are at least four Douglas DC-6s including N93BL (to the right) plus at the back, are pair of Convair 340/440s
There's a DC-9 tucked in there too but the two stars are a pair of Curtiss C-46's (Commando when miltary) - one is tucked nose-on behind N89BL being front and centre

100% Made in France neon lights, alpha male warriors, excessive violence, and bare breasts purely for free: it's the 80s with Commando Ninja, a movie that pays homage to the greatest action-type clichés with whom we grew up to become the degenerate beings steeped in pop culture that we are today.

The Commando Memorial is a Category A listed monument in Scotland, dedicated to the men of the original British Commando Forces raised during World War II. Situated around a mile from Spean Bridge village, it overlooks the training areas of the Commando Training Depot established in 1942 at Achnacarry Castle. Unveiled in 1952 by the Queen Mother, it has become one of the United Kingdom's best-known monuments, both as a war memorial and as a tourist attraction offering views of Ben Nevis and Aonach Mòr.
During the Second World War British Commandos and other specialist forces trained in this remote part of north-west of Scotland - an area that was completely closed off for secrecy.
This memorial, located at Spean Bridge, near Fort William, commemorates the Commandos. This is the area they trained in.
Close nearby is a poignant area put aside for personal tributes to individual Commandos - to those who died in that war but also there are many more modern additions as their deadly job continues.
My photo was taken in "Summer" but if you look closely there are still very small areas of snow on the mountains.
Shayetet 13 is a naval special forces unit and is one of the main reconnaissance units of the Israeli Defense Forces. Trained for sea, air, and land operations, Shayetet 13 specializes in counterterrorism, sabotage, special reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, maritime hostage rescue, and boarding.
The unit has been involved in virtually all of Israel’s major wars, and its operations are highly classified. Shayetet 13 is considered one of the best special forces units in the world, comparable to the US Navy Seals.
Shayetet 13 was founded in 1949 and today is composed of around 300 personnel. Its motto is "As the bat emerges from the darkness, As the blade cuts through with silence, As the grenade smashes in rage."
God bless

Republic Commando Boss
After a long time I finished a new custom :( Please tell me what you think of it :)

A commando droid shield like the one in the "Citadel" Arc. It has another sideways handle similar to the LEGO Knights shields so the droids can also hold it with their sideways hands.
The new Arealight helmets are great so I decided to update one of my old Republic Commando figs.
The helmet shape is spot on in my view. The visor was painted on in layers from dark silver, light silver, blue wash, then light blues for the highlights and edging whilst the blue wash was still wet (blends it better).
Well, my football season ended prematurely, leading to more free time. With my ample time, I realized how distant from the hobby I was. So to make up for spare time, I did something I have always wanted to do, make my own Commando. I bought Star Wars: Republic Commando back in the summer, and I instantly fell in love with the game. This, and the release of Star Wars Battlefront II, revived the drive of wanting to dig out the tools and work with my parts. Also, I just realized that I missed my 7 year anniversary, which has also lead me on a trip down memory lane. I am more than grateful for the relationships and fun I have had on this website, and I hope that this will continue. Anyways, I'm done with the personal stuff, on to the figure.
The figure I have created is based off the basic Republic Commando from the Star Wars Universe. His name and color scheme are based off of my High School Football teams colors, maroon and white. The helmet and backpack were base commando parts from Clone Army Customs. The chest piece, knee pads, shoulder pads, and pouches are made from ProCreate. The crotch and ab pieces are cut from the Spartan Armor from BrickForge. I painted this myself with Apple Barrel and Citadel Paints.
============================================
The Ensign Commando, a British camera manufactured by Houghton-Butcher, has certain unusual features. It was designed during the World War II as a military camera for the British Army, but the conflict ended when it had hardly begun to be used. Therefore, Houghton-Butcher adapted it to the civil market. The other interesting detail is that the focusing is not achieved moving the lens, but rather the focal plane. All the film moves forward and back against a tension plate. Finally, this is a 2 format camera, 6x6 and 6x4.5 cm. But unlike other models that nee a removable frame (which ALWAYS ends up lost), in this case the reducer frame is formed by two integral rotating plates on both sides (as if they were shutters).
Lens is an Ensar Anastigmat f3.5 75mm in an Ensign Epsilon leaf shutter.
This example in question is the civil version of 1946, and it's my second Commando (first one wasn't usable. It's interesing how early seems to be in the production line, as it's lens serial number is only 13XX and the shutter even less, just a 9XX. Camera serial number is a C16XX.

The commando monument near Spean Bridge in Lochaber. Unveiled in 1952 by the Queen Mother. A well known Category A listed monument dedicated to the men of the British Commando forces raised during WWII. Monument sits in a prominent site and looks over the area used for training with the mighty Ben Nevis and Aonoch Mhor as a backdrop. Took this moody shot as the sun was trying to pierce through the clouds. Looks like the statues are looking into the light...
