Július 30-án országos biciklis seregszemlére került sor a Szeben megyei Cârţişoarán.
A találkozó során a jó fizikai erÅ‘nlétben levÅ‘ bringások CârÅ£iÅŸoaráról a Transzfogarason elÅ‘bb felbicikliztek a tengerszint fölött 1234 méter magasan található Bâlea-vÃzeséshez, innen pedig a 2034 méter magasan található Bâlea-tóhoz. Az össztáv 27 kilométer, a bringások 1567 méter pozitÃv szintkülönbséget tettek meg, az emelkedÅ‘ átlaga 5,7%-os volt.
A Kolozsvár Pedálozik Kerékpárklub (www.clujulpedaleaza.ro) csapatát Kertész Levente, a sportegyesület elnöke vezette. A Transzfogarason valamennyi csapattag, azaz Jászoly Tibor, Mihai Mocan, Cristian Man, Mihai Savu, Fogarassy Botond és alulÃrott felbringázott (safety car: Man Beatrice).

On July 30, 2011 the www.ciclism.ro portal organized a meeting in the village of Cârţişoara, Sibiu county.
The fit bikers went up to Balea lac. Distance: 27 kilometers (16.77 miles), altitude difference: 1567 meters (5141 feet), average elevation 5,7%.
The Clujul Pedalează/Kolozsvár Pedálozik Team: Jászoly Tibor, Mihai Mocan, Cristian Man, Mihai Savu, Fogarassy Botond, Kertész Levente, Kiss Olivér. Safety car: Man Beatrice.
The ruins of the World War I Austrian-Hungarian Tactical Command Center for the fortifications in the Altipiani di Folgaria, Lavarone e Luserna lay near the road from Chiesa to Virti. The way down to the ruins begins some yards right of a wooden post "Magnifica Comunita 'di Folgaria" above the small village Vinti. The Command Station is well camouflaged in a natural chasm between rocks and wood. The Command had communication connections by telphone and optical telegraph system to the observation point Monte Rust (Monte Horst) southwest of Chiesa.

Lima Company 42 Commando Royal Marines - Exercise Black Alligator
Images captured show a dawn raid by Lima Company 42 Commando Royal Marines on to objective Ruby. The mission saw the commando’s clear enemy from buildings and the surrounding terrain. The attack was part of 42 Commando's week long final exercise of Black Alligator. 26th to 30th November 2012

The Commando Memorial dedicated to the men of the original British Commando Forces raised during World War II. Situated around a mile from Spean Bridge village, it overlooks the training areas of the Commando Training Depot established in 1942 at Achnacarry Castle. Sculpted by Scott Sutherland and unveiled in 1952 by the Queen Mother
