This is one of the many "comfort stations" (or "outhouse's") that are located along the highways and backroads of Alaska. It is currently buried in snow - but I'm sure our highway department will have all of them dug out by the time the first tourist arrives. Meanwhile - rugged Alaskan's must dart off into the forest should mother nature call - and that is just a wee bit hard to do when the snow is up to your knee's, and the bears are waking up.

Lobster macaroni & cheese with filet mignon (medium rare) at a comforting price. If you're not too picky, this is very good!
Obviously not professionally shot; the light source was from overhead recessed lighting, which casts unsightly shadows. I still couldn't resist taking photos.
I have learned that all I really need in my life is finding comfort in the things that matter to me.
About two months ago the meadow right in front of my house, where Daniel and I used to have dinner during summer and where I always went for some spontaneous photo taking, was completely dug over. I have yet to get used to the thought that it just disappeared and I get really sad every time I walk past and get reminded again, but since some time has passed the grass began to grow back on top of the hill — and there is one angle that makes it look like it is still there. :)
I took this in the pouring rain the other day, after having some important realizations about what I want to focus on in my life.

I get a bit of slack for my choice of footware on a regular basis. I often wear nice dresses paired with sneakers or casual flats.
For me, comfort almost always wins out. That seems to make me strange in a fashionable world, but hey, what can I say?
Years of uncomfortable shoes and sore feet have taught me that style just isn't worth it. So I've adapted a new motto and I just let things jive.
If the shoes match nothing, they must match everything.

Archways in the knave at fountains abbey, one of my favourite aspects of the abbey. The perfect symmetry of the arches is awe inspiring. The different colours in the stones are a product of the ageing process and the variance of colour shades is eye opening!
